I worked with this guy 5yrs ago,we got on really well we had intimate times but didnt sleep together,we lost contact but i still think of him alot and what we did together,I know he still works there and im in the town 2moro should i go talk to him and if so how do i find out if he has a gf without asking him straight up?

Give him a call and arrange to meet to "catch up", that way you can suss out his current GF situation. If you had a really good relationship before, I'm sure he will be really glad to see you, and if you both have the same feelings for each other, then theres no reason why you shouldn't go for it. May be pick up from where you left off. Good Luck!!

Why don't you give him a call instead....early enough to happily let him know you're in town for the day, wanted to say hi, and maybe see if he was free for a quick lunch? Keep it friendly without asking the GF question; that should come on over burgers!!

No reason why not based on your intimate past. Look him up, say hello, talk about what you have been doing, job, life, etc. then ask him & his life during the period you lost touch. If he makes no mention whatsoever about a girlfriend by the time you say good bye, say something like: "Maybe see we can have a coffee together or something, bring your girl if you like...."
