does he like me?

I'm not sure of the signs a guy likes you but i think he does. So here's the deal:
we've known each other for a year and are pretty good friends already. We go to the same school except guys are schooled in a separate building. But we do see each other--mainly on weekends and we talk on IM. he usually IMs me first. When we happen to pass each other w/o the ability to actually talk right then, he usually gives me a smile. He saw me in a random place he got really excited and told me about 4 times. When we do talk he occasionally moves a little bit closer, and when we're sitting he moves his leg close sometimes. At a party he seems to always find me first.
Now my other good friend, he doesn't really do this too.
Also he keeps eye contact when talking but he does that with most everyone.

i forgot he also mirrors my movements sometimes and our other friend he doesnt do any of this too even though he's friends with her too

I think he probably does like you but its not as cut and dried as that yet, from what you have said.

I think the going on about seeing you seems to indicate the asnwer- that he likes you.

Moving closer- don't read anything into that unless you can just tell in your gut it has meaning.

Finding you first at a party means nothing. A friend who likes you would do that.

Ok so it seems theres potential. What do you do?

Don't IM with him. Tell him you are not IMing anymore.

He is being a bit shy. Which means he doesnt want a showdown- like if you ask him if he likes you- which would embarrass him. And it also means he will take forever to make a move.

The key question is- will he do things with you like have coffee, go to a movie. And then will he make a move. I think you need to accelerate things to the answer-- he will take his time due to his shyness.

But make it feel a little like it is his idea. Ok -- IM get off it with him, it is bad for romance, trust me. The best time is when you are passing-- go up and talk to him. Then make a comment like "we should grab coffee sometime" and then leave it. It will then give him the confidence to ask you without rejection-- he is terrified of you rejecting him.

He should then ask you for a coffee later. And it will be his invite. Then just say after the coffee-- that was fun we should catch up again sometime....and leave it and watch it go-- he will get the message

He likes you. I think you should make the first move and ask him out. He will probably be taken aback by it but he will be happy. Maybe he is just scared and isn't sure if you feel the same way.

sounds like hes into ya. if ya dnt wnt to ask him out u shud try doin some simaler things sumat he will recignize as flirting. i dnt really like to av a go at me own gender but guys r dim an need stuff spelling out for them especialy teenage guys so keep it simple.

Why don't you ask him? If he blushes then he likes you. If he just laughs at you then he might but not really. If he says "hells motha fing no!!!!" That means he doesn't. Good luck
