I told my husband that there was nothing more than merely a letter which was a little spicy and i wrote it because i felt very lonely and down.I cut it off now. My marriage was a little shaky with my husband and my parents each hating other so much that both seem to have made me the target. My parents ask me to divorce him and he asks me to never contact my parents. As my husband is broke I can't divorce him now and I don't see why I should cut my relation with my parents as they only want him to find a job, quit drinking(he is not an alchoholic) and take care of our family. My husband and l love our kids very much, so I never intend to do anything agaist them. This friend to who i wrote the loveletter admired me 14 years back in college and he is happily married. I don't know why I wrote the letter but I really liked him at that time. Now my husband says he would pay me in my 'own currency' by starting an affair with whoever.Should we take divorce so that no more of this happens?

When I read some of the stuff in the Marriage,divorce and relationship section on this site, it's quite shocking. Do you feel the same? Soooo many people bash marriage and demonize it. Trying to make it look as horribel as possible! Everyone's so concerned about having easy way's out. Having everything and everone be more "convient" for them, "What can I get." Is it shocking to anyone else that we've gone down this path? And I ask this as a 20 yr guy never had a girlfriend. And still not having dabled in the sexual aspact of life. And quite frankly reading the stuff in this site makes me wanna a recluse person and just celibate. I'm no one convience!! And yes I know people have free will and all of that. We have choices I know! "Do what you want." But you gotta admitt it's kind of eye opening. And please don't say it's just "evolution." I need more then that. After marriage is gone what's next? Cause something alway is. Thoughts?

I feel that over time Christians have changed the meaning of scripture in order to suit our needs and wants instead of being ok with what God wants for us.. how do we know its not a million times better then what we could imagine. For example, I struggle with being alone since my hubby walked out in September of 2004. I have pushed myself forward but have to admit its hard. I could easily change verses such as "marital unfaithfulness" and have that be my out, but truth is, he never physically cheated that I know of. heck, if that was the case, I think that most women and men could be called adulterers. SHEESH! So, do you think we have changed the Bible to fit our needs? Do you think that we use it as a buffet table to fit our comfort level? Let me know! I esspecially want to hear from other Christians on this subject. Thanks!

ok im 13, im shy i havnt had my first boyfriend till i was 12 and never been kissed. tan,greendarkbronish eyes and long brown hair. i also love drawing and all. it like other people can get away without showing thier emotions from lookin at their faces but when you know im mad,sad and esp when i like someone people can tell. i like this guy, not love him more like lust. once i had stayed alone with him in his house and we were watching a movie but when ever he looked at me i always giggle and blush. i can hardly chew and swallow my food near him. i cant even look at his eyes without giggling, what should i do,? he lknows i like him and he likes me too, he told me. the only difference about our personalities are is hes always so cocky but he knows how to paly it cool though cause of his looks and im pretty,smart, goth but low confiedence.

so, i went to the movies with the hottest girl of my dreams last night, i've known her for awhile... and shes really into me. we held hands throughout the whole movie/. we sat there for a minute, until eventually i just flat out said, "wanna makeout"? sounds dumb but it worked. we made out for awhile. haha, so do you guys have any ideas on something smooth or nice that would just lead up to the perfect makeout? so it's not all awkward next time. thanks.

Well there is this guy and we had a rough start becoming friends. For the last four or five months we have gotten really close. I was about to ask him out and then he had to go to a different school in my town. I'm not allowed to go out until I'm 14 (i'm 13 at the moment)
i cry at night and tell myself that i'll never see him again because of that parent prob. i also try to tell myself that i will see him again and i laugh about the memories that i have with him. how can i see him without my parents knowing and stop crying over him?

My boyfriend of almost two years seriously asked me what colour my eyes are on AIM tonight. Not only did he not see something wrong with this, he got mad at one of my friends who made the comment "he should spend less time looking at your chest and more time at your face."
Do I have the right to be mad, or is this something that I should just let go, and what do you take him asking that to mean? Is it a sign that he doesn't pay any attention to me, or is it just one of those guy things?

ok, so i really like this girl in my STUDY HALL, and she is is a grade under me, (im a spophmore shes a freshmen)..i know a little bit about her, and i only talked with her online, b/c im am way too shy to talk to her in person. I've been told that I'm 'picky' 'dumb' 'irrational' etc. for seeking a man with the following:

-heart for God
-looks (....as in considerably head-turning w/a bit of a body)
-financial stability
-intelligence

really...is it that hard? I'm not a slouch myself, I know that I can offer all of these things

(I *hate* it when sub-par people complain that they can't find a model...i'm not hating...you know it's the truth)

but am I kidding myself that this exists? Be honest, I can handle it.

K, I am a person with very few friends right now, and I have this best friend, my only true friend, and she is just surpassing me in everything I do. She doesn't mean to, it just happens. I guess she is just more talented, more popular, and prettier than I am. I am really happy for all of her successes, but I have this feeling of envy that just keeps popping up. This guy comes out of no where and impacts your life before you have even met. Then after you do meet... he is so sweet, you can't help but be attracted to him and wonder what it is like to have him. But... he has a girlfriend whom he happens to love. You respect that... you give that reverence... so you try to fight against falling for him... but the harder you fight the more you are pulled him...
