My boyfriend of almost two years seriously asked me what colour my eyes are on AIM tonight. Not only did he not see something wrong with this, he got mad at one of my friends who made the comment "he should spend less time looking at your chest and more time at your face."
Do I have the right to be mad, or is this something that I should just let go, and what do you take him asking that to mean? Is it a sign that he doesn't pay any attention to me, or is it just one of those guy things?

We go to school together, so he has actually seen me quite a bit in real life, and it was an honest question.

Uh, my boyfriend knows that color of my eyes. I think he needs to pay more attention to you.

Wow. Do you guys see each other often? Or is this an online relationship? I would say you have a right to be mad....although if it were me...I'm not sure how I would feel. That just seems....weird. Unless you guys have only seen each other like never....I really have no idea why someone would ask that, especially your boyfriend. I've never even known any guy who's had to ask that cause usually it's the first thing a guy would notice if he's into you. I would just straight up say, do you seriously not know? or do I seriously have to slap color back in your eyes?!?

Most times its just a guy thing, but eyes by now he should know, i'd stay mad a little while then just get over it.Youcan't make a man pay attention to you.

You always have the right to be mad. Now, is it reasonable to be mad about this? - nah, let it go. Maybe he is color blind, maybe he just notices other things and not your eye color. Or maybe he just had a "brain fart" and couldn't remember it right then. This is definitely not worth fighting about - remember this is the best advice you might ever get "pick your fights carefully" - dont fight about silly stupid stuff -- save it for some important topic. Good luck -k-

Dont sweat the small stuff. Thats how drama gets started in a relationship and before long he will be looking for small stuff to get mad about to and then your relationship starts to suck and when that happens, GAME OVER.

I would simply reply with a question to him such as "Is your peni$ still only 2 inches or has it grown 1/2 inch since we met?" Personally I would be mad but make sure he wasn't joking?

Sweetie, it's just one of those guy things. Just wait until he calls you by the dogs name! guys are wired totally differently, it means nothing and he didn't do it to hurt you or piss you off. They remember weird things that they think are critical facts and so do we, neither of which are right or wrong. Let it go.

What does he need to know what color your eyes are for? Get over it. It's not a need to know thing. Join the real world.

you have a right to be mad and he has a right not to care if you are mad or not, some people don't notice these details and notice the person inside

wow. for two years?! thats pretty unattentive in my opinion. Lol. I mean, what about your birthday? does he know that? You can be mad, but tell him to pay more attention to your face, and just let it go.
