i have been married for 6 months, and i like my rings. is it okay to ask for an upgrade of my diamond on a significant anniversary 5 or 10 year.... my husband said that i should keep the one he bought me because that is the one he proposed with, but i think i could use the exsisting diamond and make a ring out of it after an upgrade.

is this a fair request ?

Which do you prefer? Being asked for $ex by your husband or boyfriend, or not being asked? My wife has a below average drive. I used to ask her for $ex but I've totally stopped asking her. I stopped because I felt that I was putting too much pressure on her which might have been having an adverse affect on our relationship. Strangely enough, we more or less still do it the same number of times per month. The only difference is that I always wait for her to ask me.
Now that I've stopped asking for it, I realize that I prefer to be asked. I feel so much less pathetic!! O=(^o^) Also in a masochistic kind of way, I actually enjoy the denial part of it ...to a point..

So, do you like to ask for it, or do you like to be asked?

My husband and I have been together for 4 years, & got married Sept '06. Last June, we decided to move out of state to 'start our new lives'. After being there for 6 months, we were both unhappy and missed our family & friends, but our relationship was stronger than ever and we were very much in love. We made the decision to move back home this past Jan. My best friends' roommate happened to be moving out & she needed roommates so the opportunity to move in with her seemed perfect. Now we are all living together and we all get along well, so no problem there. But ever since we've been back my husband is ALWAYS with his friends or always has to have friends over, and he never wants to spend 'alone time' with just me. [my roomy gives us space whenever] His attitude has been so negative towards me, and I feel like he's starting to distance himself from me. We never talk anymore & I don't feel the love from him. I've tried telling him how I feel and he seems to shrug it off. Any advice?

My ex bf Brandon and I have a huge past. We met last year when I was with Ty, a guy I thought I was totally in love with. I met Brandon thru my best friend Grant. And I thought he was really cute. I was stupid and told Grant, and Grant told Brandon. Brandon told Grant that he liked me. I didnt even know him. But then we started texting each other and talking on IM. He would always ask me if I had broken up with Ty yet. I wasnt going to because I barely knew Brandon but I was falling for Ty. And then one night when we were texting each other Brandon just said "I love you soo much"..I didnt know what to say. My heart was pounding! And I couldnt say I love you too because of Ty. And I wasnt really sure if I did or not. Then last summer Ty broke up with me because his parents didnt like my family. Brandon was there for me. And 2 months later asked me out, I said yes. We couldnt really see each other because it was summer and we were both really busy but we talked alot on IM and kept on texting. I went to his football games and stuff though. Then when we got back to school there were rumors that he never liked me and he was going to break up with me. I decided to talk to him, and see if it was true. He said "of course not!" and hugged me. Later that day he was walking with this other girl and my friend was walking behind them, she heard the girl say "Do you think you missed her?" and Brandon said "Idk thats why Im running faster." I was hurt so bad. So I broke up with him. He came to hug me and I pushed him away. We hated each other for a while. Until we found out we had one of the same classes together. Brandons the guy that all girls love because hes funny. He can always make you laugh. And I never stopped thinking he was cute. I stopped thinking he was funny. But when we ended up in the class together I started having those old feelings for him...and word is hes ACTUALLY having them for me this time. But I dont know. He has a girlfriend and Ive never seen him this way with a girl usually its 2 weeks and there done. Its been 2 months and hes totally crazy about her. Hes like my best friend now. And I would never ruin something like that for him. Some guy really hurt me yesterday and Brandon was right there talking to me and trying to make me feel better. Hugging me, and telling me everythings going to be okay. And saying a guy like him doesnt deserve me. But Im so confused. And I dont know what Im feeling. Or what he is. I dont think its right. But idk. HELP.

I cant stand my husband....at all. He pushed me away so long and chose his family over me for so many years. I finally gave up .Now that he is really trying, i feel it is too late. We have 3 children, (2 are my step sons) and i am often excluded from making decisions as it pertains to my stepsons (he usually runs to his parents for that) . The ONLY reason i stay is because i have invested so much into this and could not stand another woman reaping the benefits..... we argue more every day..he hasnt worked but nine months combined in the years weve been together,,im tired of that too..he is still depends way too much on his parents....hate that..i know this is not the place to ask such serious stuff but entertain me okay????????am i doing him an injustice by staying?as i said he has changed a lot, but has a long way to go.......

I am getting married @ a lake. This is the 2nd marriage for both of us, so this is to be very small, and intimate with just immediate family. My son is going to "give me away," but he is going to stay by my side the whole time. Instead of a best man, my fiance's daughter will be with him. We are having a blending of the sands ceremony rather than a unity candle, and the children will be involved. What is the proper order to perform the ceremony? I will walk to my fiance to one song, then the ceremony will start. I plan to have one more song, either during the blending of the sands, or after. But once I walk down, I'm stumped as to where we go from there. Please help. Thank you.

Basically, my bf and i were together for 4 years, we came to Uni together, and he got really taken up in the whole uni life and dumped me, and i found out he was sleeping with another girl. This really cut me up, i was down for months, then Christmas came and I decided i needed to pick myself up. I met another guy at xmas and we started going out. He's perfect, really sweet and lovely. But 2 weeks ago, I felt so strongly in my heart that i was ment to be back with my ex. So I talked to my ex and we decided we both wanted to give it another shot. so i dumped my bf, and went back to ex, expecting everything to be perfect, but it wasn't. So i explained to my ex that it doesn't feel quite right, and we decided to leave it but hang out and see what happens (we're not together atm) but the 2nd guy is still saying he wants me back. I know he'd treat me better, but i think i'm still in love with my 1st bf, or maybe im just hanging onto memories? I don't know what to do, any advice? Thank you:)

For instance if you ask them if they flirt at work or ask them if they talk bad about you to anyone and they say “no not at all”. However if they drink things slip out that seems to contradict them but not enough to totally accuse them of lying. Is there one thing that liars do that makes it easy to catch them? I've known this guy for 3 years now. He used to be sooo sweet until he got used to me, now, not so much. He never pays attention when I talk, and basically ignores me all around.

Sometimes, he'll pay attention, talk a lot, and be really really sweet, and I remember why I used to like him..then the next day he's a jerk, treats me like crap, calls me names, and makes me feel so low.

Yesterday he was being nice and I pointed that out, and said it didnt take much to make me happy and he admitted that he was mean on purpose so that when he was nice, I'd be thrilled about it.

I think that maybe if we were dating he wouldnt do this, but im confused, sometimes I like him, sometimes I cant stand him. Should I give him a shot, or no?
