What I mean is if a guy likes u when he meets u and tells u that he likes how u look and after he gets to know u a little tells u that he likes your personality do u get turned off? Why? Would u rather he hold his feelings in for the first couple of weeks?
Personally I think that so many relationships end badly because of lack of communication and fear of expressing yourself so why would we promote it by expecting people to be cautious about expressing their feelings?

I have a friend I like, however it has been many times that we would end up arguing. But that's fine, - sure, people will always have different views. She is smart and interesting and is full of curious insights about people and the world. The thing that bothers me is that while she says a couple of nice and positive words about me, she then tells me things like "you are a difficult person", "you are unreasonable", "you are crazy", "it is impossible to tell you anything". I am starting to think that it's not all that innocent because it upsets me and it's like her perception of me is different from who I really am. I am no perfect, but there was no sitiation, when I would let her down or point out at her faults. Have you has a similar experience? Would you tolerate your friends defining who you are?

I only have friends that are girls. Most of them hang out w/ other girls and the others have boy friends. I really want to make a friend that is a boy but how? I really don't know what to say. I don't want anything wierd.........i really need something to say. I'm not usually shy in making friends but with a boy...kind of. ok so me and my best friend were down at the beach at dark time and 2 guys came down in bikes and then went away and came back with a comeero car and got out and got all wierd and drunk acting at us. so my friend left and yet ive never seen these guys around before but now they are stalking me and stuff. what should i do? at first they seemed appealing but now im afraid of them and they have been stalking me for about a week and a half now. im very scared and would like to know just what i should do about this?

My husband and I have been married for 6 months. I just had our first baby 2 weeks ago. I would think that because of all this my husband would have at least a little respect in me but he doesnt. For ex: Before our baby was born i made it very clear that he was to quit smoking (i had when i found out i was pregnant.. he didnt) because i didnt want her breathing it in the odor or the smoke. Well the other day i found a lighter in his stuff.. he denied knowing about it completely... I finally told him that i knew he was lieing and that he should be man enough to tell me and FINALLY he did. He lied to me about this how do i know he isnt lieing about other stuff? Not only that whenever him and i fight (which is often lately) he always calls me names.. i have threatened divorce on him bc of all the disrespect and he always says it will change but it never does. what do i do? Im finding myself losing love for him and thats not what i want, at least for the sake of my new baby girl. Help.

okay, so i was best friends with this girl for about a year. all of a sudden she completely changed. last summer she started sleeping with all these guys, partying all the time with older guys, almost drank herself to death one night (i'm pretty sure it was on purpose), i ended up dragging her down to the hospital, & she went off to this treatment place. i found out she'd made up all these stories and lies, and had done more stuff than i thought. but i thought after treatment and counceling she had changed. she did for a while but then went back to how she was. we didn't talk for about three months. now though, we've been talking, and she's changed a lot. at least i think. how can i be sure? i think it might be different this time though cuz i should know what to look for now right? am i right for giving her a second chance, cuz i think i am. what's the point in trying to get someone to change and then not giving them a chance to show you when they do? i just need an outside opinion.

well, it's been a while since I saw a girl at the bank where I used to make transactions ....but, well, she's really nice ...and I'm kinda interested in her ...but, when I see her, I fake needing services and then from there, I tried to engage some little conversations, she gave me her name, and well, she knows my name too ..but, yet I don't know how to give my phone number to her or an email ...I don't know how to introduce that in the short conversations ...doing it like that would appear a little bit aggressive, I would like to find a smoother way to give my info to her ...by the way she's at the reception, should call someday without revealing my indentity to her saying that I'm an admirer ...and then try to talk ..? or, well, go straigth and give her my phone or email address so she can call ..? what do you think ?

This guy I liked still lives with the girl he was dating for 3 years, and even though he's tried to break up with her for about 5 months now, she won't take his seriously, and ends up pushing every one of his buttons to get her way. They fight constantly because she is beyond the point of being controling and there's even holes in the walls of their apartment from all their fights. He told me he wanted to move on and I could tell he was very interested in me.

Well he and I had been hanging out Saturday night, while she was out of town for the weekend, and we ended up kissing for awhile.

She found out, pushed all his buttons again, and now he tells me that even though she's not perfect she loves him and wants to work things out. And he had to listen to her cry all night long and he feels like such a horrible person.

I know he needs to grow some balls, that's a given, but I think his main reason for staying with her is because he feels guilty. Whatcha think?

There's this girl who stares at me all the time. I'll look over at her, and she'll just be staring at me with this blank expression on her face. Once I smiled at her, and she smiled back, but she kept staring at me. Sometime's she really nasty to me when I'm talking to her. But she keeps staring at me and it's really starting to creep me out!!!
