Unless your dad said "do not leave this house," I think you should go. You do not have to be drunk to have a good time.

The drinking at raves is minor compared to the drugs, especially those you are not aware of in your drink. I suggest you tell your friend you've changed your mind. If your dad is a local cop, they know where the raves are going to be anyway.

No one can tell you what you should do except you, but I understand your dilemma. What you need to think of is this....would the party be worth getting grounded or arrested? Drinking is a thing that teenagers experiment with, I did it, my brother did it etc etc Yet I can honestly say that you can have fun at a rave without drinking or drugs. Just picture the look on your dads face when he finds out that you betrayed his trust and went out to drink? Is it worth risking his trust in you?

Trust me, if you start drinking and going out to clubs before you're 21, when you actually turn 21, its really not fun anymore. You have nothing to look forward to. I know you're really smart and youll make the right decision for you!

Dear friend,
I want you to imagine this with me. You have just made this really beautiful wedding dress. Along the way, however, you dropped a stitch, okay, maybe more. You wear it to your wedding and it holds perfectly. Now imagine that your daughter wants to wear it to her wedding too. How do you think people would feel if your gorgeous dress breaks at the seams.
Now I want you to think about this. Say you have people that look up to you. What would it do to them if they saw you do this? How would doing this party effect you in the future? Is it worth the fun now to no credibility later? Please think about and even if you may not believe in the Lord Jesus, I promise to pray for your decision.

Please be careful of the decision you'll take- talk it out with your parents, ask for advice- I personally find raves very dangerous - lots of crazy people with bad intentions go there looking to make trouble. SO BE CAREFUL.

Don't drink and definitely no "stuff". If you don't think you have a mind of your own and are won't be able to turn booze, etc, down....then stay home

Say no
Tell why not
Offer another idea
Promptly leave

notice it says (STOP)
