I gave my all, and I feel that I did my best. But my boyfriend broke up with me anyway. As long as I know that I did my best, I should have no regrets right?

Hello all. I have been seeing this lady for a while. I have, like a fool, fallen hopelessly in love with her. She has recently ended a pretty bad marriage and has told me that she is interested in a short term relationship only. She treats me pretty badly. She is a busy single mother. Sometimes she has lots of time to see me. Other times she is too "busy" but has time to see other people - friends in fairness as opposed to other lovers. On the other hand when we are together it is pretty awesome - we have great fun together - and when she kisses me it is absolutely incredible. I would marry her tomorrow and would like to build a life with her. I know it is not what she wants. I still hang on like a fool waiting for her phonecalls etc. I know I should give her up but i just cant seem to do it. Im thinking of telling her how i feel - asking her to marry me - at least then when she rejects me - I will be able to move on. Would appreciate advice. Soon to be heartbroken. P.

My partner has the chance of a new job in the very south of England. All his family live locally to us now, my family are scaterred in th UK and further. We have a two year old daughter who is happy and settled in nursery, which we would hate to disrupt. My partner had an accident at work almost a year ago now, but has recently returned. His bosses are making life difficult, he has worked for them several years but since the accident things have got messy. We have this chance of a new life but both have never lived further than 20 miles from where we were born. What should we do??? Bite the bullet or not!!!!

She dated him just before my girlfriend and I got together. She told me they didn't have a sexual relationship but later admitted they did have a sexual relationship after all. They have some things in common such as anime that her and I don't share. She wants to remain friends with him(In fact she wants to go see the Ninja turtles movie with him) but I don't feel totally comfortable with that. The fact that she lied in the beginning makes me feel this way. If she told the truth, I'm sure I wouldn't feel this way. My concern is, I don't want her to lose a good friend over this, If in fact thats all it is at this point. Should I trust her and let her see him on a friendship basis or not? Please give me some good honest advice. Thanks

It seems like it'd be about $2,000 to get one. My fiance thinks we should have one, but my mom thinks it might be a good cost to cut and I agree (we'll have a photographer of course). Does almost everyone get a videographer nowadays?

I have never been close to my father, and in fact just recently got into contact with him this year...So I am having my grandmother walk me down the aisle at my wedding....but my real question is would it be "okay" to have a mother/daughter dance at my wedding instead of a father daughter dance? If so, how would this work exactley, I mean w/o being awkward? Also, I have a younger sister and it has always been us three girls, would it be okay to include her in the dance with us? Okay, so that is three questions....HELP!!

ok, so i'll be 17 soon, and i've never really had a boyfriend. i dated a guy for about 2 weeks, but i ignored him most of the time and only agreed to go out with him because he kept bugging me and i kinda got caught up in the moment when we went to homecoming together. buy i never kissed him or anything. is something wrong with me? do most girls my age already have a lot of experience with guys? i mean, i don't really have a huge interest in even having a boyfriend...(or a girlfriend, i'm not gay or anything). i just dunno...i'm not a loser or ugly (at least i don't think so), but i'm really shy so i don't get close enough to guys to want to do that sort of stuff with them....is there something wrong or is this halfway normal?

My friend told me about the 550 rule when it comes to dating... You must spend no more than 5 hours or 50 dollars on a girl before you get it on for the first time... No matter how hard I try it is more like 770 or 880 for me. Can any guy actually pull off the 550 or is it a myth?

I know a lot of people joke and kid about it and some women might actually think they are one, but do you think it's honestly possible for a woman to have a higher sex drive than a guy?
NOTE: I don't mean short bursts, like say when your in lust with someone, I mean over the long haul, day in and day out, does any women possess a stronger sex drive than guy for a given period of time when they are not trying to impress someone.

If a guy told you he had made his decision and he didn't want to be with you all he wanted was to make his own decisions alone at the moment but he hadn't been with anyone else and never going to be!! What would you think & say you've been down twice to see him and he is always happy to c you and asks what you have been up to & you tell him you went to a 50th the other night and he asks who was there and you tell him and he keeps asking you who else, he shows an interest in what you have been doing e.g I am doing a course and is interested in my results and when he looked at them it bought tears to his eyes. His sister says to you just let him be for a while till he gets himself sorted and if he wants you he will come and get you but he has a lot on at the moment (business decisions). He is 25 and we were together for 3 & a half years. Went to c him the other night and said you can stay here if you like. He is quite happy for me to go in and make myself at home when hes not

I'm from australia so we dont really have distinct groups of people, we're all just friends.

Do you really have divided groups in schools in america. Like jocks and cheerleaders and goths etc?

Are the cheerleaders and jocks really as mean as in the movies?

i am an asian girl. and almost every asian guy in my grade (which is small because i go to a small school) asked me out. im not bragging or anything, its because i just have a question.
anyway i've rejected every one of them. and i don't know why. i don't know if its because of my preference to other races (btw, i hate racists, so just so you know. i am not one myself).
because i have seen many other asian guys i think are cute.
i don't know if its cause i didn't feel an attraction with them.

i never experienced love so here is my question to everyone lucky who has: how do you know when you are attracted to someone?

yes i know, stupid question. just curious here:)

I've always been a firm believer in saving sex until marriage, but I was talking to one of my guy friends once and asked what he thought about it, and he said he couldn't really see the point in it. He's a virgin too, but he said he's probably just wait until he found some really special to have sex, not until he was married. We had this long talk about it, both expressing our views and such. I could see where he was coming from, which kinda scares me because it made me feel like I was doubting myself. So I suppose my question is, what are other people's thoughts? Has anyone waited until marriage to have sex? Did their partner show any appreciation for it at all or was it just one of those "ok whatever" deals? (I'm not saving myself *just* for my future husband to appreicate it, I'm just wondering.)
