My friend told me about the 550 rule when it comes to dating... You must spend no more than 5 hours or 50 dollars on a girl before you get it on for the first time... No matter how hard I try it is more like 770 or 880 for me. Can any guy actually pull off the 550 or is it a myth?

Wow, thats an awesome rule! Ive pulled off the 550 once in my life, it was a 315, i spent three hours at the club dancing, only about 15 dollars on drinks for her, and we went home together! Now, dont discount all of the good game i spit at her, and how many times i told her she looked stunning, but it was worth it! She was a beautiful woman and we still hang out once in a while! But its rare to pull that off with decent women. Hope this helps!

"There is an exception to every rule"," Rules were made to be broken". Who ever came up with 550 rules is a fool to think that people operate solely on rules. There are no rules to dating. It's all out you and your creativity. Be spontaneous, do you. The only way that book would be of any use to you is if you found a woman that actually lived by those rules. Good luck with that. If you are looking for a quickie there is always some crazy chick out there looking for you. You don't even have to go far, just turn the corner and there she is. You need to loosen up and stop begging for it. Beggers don't get looked for. Focus on the money and enjoying life and the babes will trail right behind you. Start by networking, making friends with dudes and later with women don't try to get the *** just have fun throw a party, be the center of attraction. Once you have gain the respect and adoration of everyone in your fold the women just start advancing toward you. You practically don't have to do anything...lol, then maturity sets in and you will realize that you only want one babe that is going to be like your best friend.

Well if your trying to get some after spending only 5 hours or 50 bucks on a girl then you have to aim low. if u really wanted to you could have .110 rule but thats not the kind of girl anyone wants. if its just sex yes this rule works, if its anything else u need to not worry about the money or time because it will all eventually be worth it. If your worried about this rule go to a club find a girl buy her 50 bucks worth of drinks then spend the next 5 hours doin what you do, but know that you'll never want to see her again

that so cannot happen....that is all a myth. nowadays its hard to just spend 50 dollars on a date or 5 hours with a girl. what if u dont get it on until 10 months from now how are you going to just spend 5 hours with dem?

That rule is why your friend isn't getting any.
You might get a girl to come in your bed the first night, or it might take four dates. No matter what it is, if she senses that you're only spending a certain amount of money until she boinks you, she would be right to pour your entire stein of beer on your pants in front of the whole bar.

If you are treating dating like a game, and the girl like a target, then I suppose you are free to make up any rule you like.
If you are interested in getting to know a girl - and having her know you - then there are no rules, except really basic ones like having respect for another human being.
Treating a girl like a target, whose only worth is to "get it on" within a certain amount of money spent - shameful.

okay so whoever came up with that rule is dumb because there is no such thing sometimes i will get with him after just meeting him if we have a connection and other times it takes me a little longer before i even want to think about going that far

I think that you need to spend a lot longer than both of what u think and yer friend. I takes quite a while to be able to urn a girls trdut! And spendingmoney on her isnt gonna do too mcuh!
