ok, so i'll be 17 soon, and i've never really had a boyfriend. i dated a guy for about 2 weeks, but i ignored him most of the time and only agreed to go out with him because he kept bugging me and i kinda got caught up in the moment when we went to homecoming together. buy i never kissed him or anything. is something wrong with me? do most girls my age already have a lot of experience with guys? i mean, i don't really have a huge interest in even having a boyfriend...(or a girlfriend, i'm not gay or anything). i just dunno...i'm not a loser or ugly (at least i don't think so), but i'm really shy so i don't get close enough to guys to want to do that sort of stuff with them....is there something wrong or is this halfway normal?

No, some people just take longer than others, you font seem to be into the whole dating scene right now and your still in school , so i wouldn't worry, plenty of people have never had a real relationship and when it happens you'll know. So no theres nothing wrong with you.

It's just not time. Don't worry. I never was that shy around girls, but I never felt the need to have a girlfriend in school. I took friends of mine to the prom and sports dinners, but I really didn't start dating until my mid twenties. By the way, I'm 38, been married eleven years, have four kids, and a beautiful wife. Finding someone and being with someone is not a race. Look carefully and be patient.

First things first: Nothing is wrong with you. you are normal! Some of those hot mamas at your school aren't normal. At 17 your interest could be in a million different directions. Men, boys, males, well that will all come in time. You will look back at age 17 and wish you could go back to that age. By 21 men are...I'll end there! you are normal. Take your time!

for me its pretty normal. girls bloom in different time. a friend of mine had her 1st bf at the age of 22 and so her first kiss. but i think, one of the reasons why you dont have a bf right now, is probably of your shyness. some guys dont like it when girls are being too shy, you know? i guess you can meet more guys if you go on a group date or go to more parties, etc... or any outings that there will be a big group. it will give you an opportunity to meet guys... good luck...

Anyway in response to your question I was 17 before I kissed anyone. To be honest it was a guy I'd asked out.
I was fairly shy in highschool too. That is totally normal!
If boyfriends were required you'd be issued one. ;)

There is no such thing as "normal". If you aren't interested, that's fine. There are plenty if 17 year olds in your seat. Honestly, take it as a good thing. You won't have to worry about all the risks that are taken by other girls that are interested in boys at your age. You have absolutely nothing to worry about.

ok well let me tell u this much....your only 17 and still have never had a real bf or a kiss that is so great! i was 18 when i got my frist bf or kiss so u still got time. most grlz grow up too fast for their age so dont trip....just smile that there is some good girls left out there.

There is nothing wrong with you.
I was 19 when I met my first boyfriend and 21 when I met my second. As far as experience goes, I didn't have sex with any of them. I waited until I was ready and I think that's the best thing you can do.

my last boyfriend was a year ago.i know how u feel.
"am i freak or what?" dont worry about it.
it just shows ur a reserved person.
u shouldnt worry about it..someone wil come along eventually that will catch ur interest.so just relax and be happy u dont have to worry about dating problems

a lot of girls have had sex with a few guys by 17. but guess what? they're idiots. you are smart enough to enjoy what you enjoy without having to have a guy beside you. just do your thing and one day you will be ready for more. you go girl! virgintiy is precious so hold onto it as long as you can.
