OH PAL JUST BLAME FEMINIST. The woman could be a convicted drug dealer and still is more likely to win a custody battle over a role model dad.The courts want a bunch of mommas boys these days.

Well at least the court systems seem to recognize that for the most part children are best taken care of by the mothers. It's pretty difficult for a mother to lose custody; an affair is usually not a good enough reason for her to lose the kids. It would have to be something more serious to make her unfit.

Running off and leaving the kids was just not good. I know a lot of women out there get to the point where stress from family can be too much and they break down. I can't say if it's right or wrong, and I'm sure that the kids and the dad were hurting. I just don't know that the one episode should mean she loses her kids. I hope things can be worked out in the kids' best interests.

Why do men have children with unstable women or women they are not married to
Why did you not get a temporary custody over abandonment when she first took off showing you to be the stable parent

The North American court system favors the mother then more of the man. That is how it obviously works. It is unfortunate but its true.
