My mom is always putting me down. Whether she is calling me fat or useless. Its always something. I don't enjoy it. I am not fat. I am 97 lbs. And 5'3''. She makes me so upset. Ill do something wrong and she'll hold a grudge about it for months. I think there is something wrong with her. She can be really nice, but then she can be mean. When we get mad at eachother then she'll always switch things around to make it seem like I was the one who started it all. She never seems to be nice to me. She left my family once. She one time slapped me so hard that I bled just because I asked my friend for a ride to her house. I forgave her for all of that though. But I do something wrong and Its like the world is over. I sometimes really feel hate. I was 9 when she did that. Now I am 13. My parents are back together. I sometimes wish they weren't though. She treats my little sister, who is 8, like a princess. Please help me. Im really confused. Should I talk to my mom, or what?

ok, if you had to choose between something you really wanted to do, like join the military, become a missionary, or join the peace corp, or a shot at love which would you choose? That's what i'm beingt faced with... i want to leave for the air force, yet i want to keep dating mr. perfect that i've found, but or relationship isn't strong enough yet to withstand a long break, its in the baby stages, but i feel closer to him then any guy i've dated he's amazing, what would you do have you had a similiar experience. I don't want to give it up, because what id he really is the one, or i never find one like him again?

My bio father lives in Panama (country). I lived with him everyother year since I can remember, He loves me very much. He always took good care of me although my mom and him dont get along. When I was 15 I moved to the US with my mom, stepfather and brother and sister. My stepgfather has taken care of all of us since. He also loves me very much and I love him too, Im very thankful for all he has done. My problem is, My stepdad is "VERY" excited about the wedding because he feels that he is walking me down the aisle, he is in the military and has asked to wear his formal attire to do so, he doesnt have any kids either. My dad cannot wait either and of course he is my real dad so he feels like he is the one too. I cannot have them both walk me down the aisle because they hate eachother and my bio dad will be very angry he probably wont talk to me and my stepfather would feel very hurt. I dont want to hurt either of them and I dont know what to do. Anyone have an idea for a happy end

Marriage, and sex after marriage? I am trying so hard to stay pure for my future husband, and I am doing it the best way I know how, not to even date. I am 14 and there is NO reason under the sun to be dating at my age. I don't disapprove of it, but I am not going to participate in it. My boyfriend of 2 years can't seem to stop talking to his ex-girlfriend. She's been a problem from day one, texting him and trying to contact him by every single internet means imaginable. She even tried to sleep with him a couple of months after he and I got together. So obviously, I have QUITE a problem with his continued contact with her. It's been 2 YEARS and I found out today that not only did he kindly remember her birthday, he remembered her NUMBER so that he could text her well wishes. Now bear in mind that I'm not allowed to speak to my exes. At all. He made it clear early on that he's no cool with it, and I have honored that, alienating people who could still be my friends. And this has been an ongoing issue. I've confronted him several times after learning he was messaging her online and been rebuffed with his promises to stop. Yet he still goes out of his way to speak to her. Is my anger righteous and should I say anything? Again?

my boyfriend has a friend that lives in NV (a girl) and we live in NY he's atmitted to having the hotts for her i found out that he gave her his cell number, he was supposed to go see her 3 months before we started dating and has said that if she ever needed him for anything he'd go to her. is it wrong for me to be upset he gave her his number behind my back? should i be worried?

I'm methodist my fiance is catholic and we're trying to get married at a protestant chapel but they won't let us proceed until we get approval from the catholic church. The only way the catholic church will approve is if we promise to raise our kids as catholic, he has to promise to try to convert me to catholic and I have to promise not to try to convert him to methodism. We still need to do all this even though we don't want a catholic church, a catholic ceremony or a catholic priest. Anyone know why?

I would like to locate an early childhood friend. This goes back to the period ranging from 1969-1973. I don't even remember her last name. I've used the city directories for the period with limited success (the house they lived in was listed as vacant or the last names listed didn't seem right - they were an immigrant family from easten europe).

Any suggestions for how to proceed would be appreciated. Thanks!
