if you see the person you like at a party do you approach them and use your personality to make up a conversation or do you wait to see if they will talk to you first

approach because what if another guy approaches first? then you'll fell like crap and regret not taking the initiative.

no you shouldn't just ignore them b/c they may be waiting 4 u 2 approach them so i say that if u should just go start a conversation and hope for the best and if the person is interested they will talk and y'all will hit it off

Why do you want to play games? Are you 12 years old? When I see someone who interests me, I approach them and make conversation. That conversation is all I need to determine whether I'd want to go out with them or not.

You could do that but it's better to open with the person. You don't have to pour out your heart and soul, just ask them if the want to hang out with you sometime and go from there.

If you want results, being proactive is a prerequisite. The old adage "you snooze, you loose" describes accurately what happens from missed opportunities. In other words, if you wait to see what they do, you might see them end up talking to someone else. Take my word for it, it'll happen every time.
