ok, if you had to choose between something you really wanted to do, like join the military, become a missionary, or join the peace corp, or a shot at love which would you choose? That's what i'm beingt faced with... i want to leave for the air force, yet i want to keep dating mr. perfect that i've found, but or relationship isn't strong enough yet to withstand a long break, its in the baby stages, but i feel closer to him then any guy i've dated he's amazing, what would you do have you had a similiar experience. I don't want to give it up, because what id he really is the one, or i never find one like him again?

SIGN UP tommorrow.
YOu will meet a thousand Mr. RIGHTS
I promise you that. The men to women ratio is about 8 men for every one woman!
how can you beat those odds!
Furthermore,
It will give you an idea of what he is made of and it will allow you the chance to gain some real work experience.
If you think it better, why not compromise and join the air national guard or reserves. that way you can see if you like the airforce and you can see if he is really a guy that is worth defering your dreams for.
I vote for the airforce, but do talk to him and see if he what his thoughts are about either decision. He may NOT see the relationship the same way you do! Better to know everything upfront!

I had to make this decision and even though it was really hard to do. After finishing high school I applied to go to film school and out of 5,000 applicants they only choose 15 to enter. When I was chosen I knew I had to move to a new state. I know the drama and decision you have to make now and I followed the career path I wanted to do and went to film school and it was the best decision. My relationship folded just 3 weeks after I started film school. When I think about it now I could have missed out on my once in a lifetime opportunity I had always dreamed of offered to me, if I let my emotions take over. I'm doing all the things most people dream of and work along side all the biggest name actors and actresses and directors in the world as well been around the world more than eight times and see my name on the credits of major films and popular television shows. I also go on world tours working with very popular bands and recording artists. I once ran into friends of my ex I was almost willing to give this opportunity away and found out under a week after I left they were out with someone else. Don't give up your dream follow it !

This one is a no-brainer, choose love and the Hell with the Air Force. Run to him and never look back, never have regrets, be happy and have a good life together.
Finding someone who's really right for you is almost a literal impossibility in this crazy world. You seem to think you've found it so don't be a stupid fool and risk losing it because you had to run off to boot camp like a tard.

My husband was in the Army and well it was fine when we meant. We were young and wanted to see the world...(but also there wasn't a war going on) Then when we talked about kids I wouldn't have them if he was going to stay in... He has been out for about four years now.. We have two kids.. he tells me he wouldn't change it for the world.. I guess why I told you all this is that for each person it is going to be different.. So how does he feel about it.. If he is on the same page as you then I would personally not go into the air force. I would stay for love..
Hope I helped a little..

Personally i would shoot for love because..once in a life time you find TRUE love....trust me on this one i have seen people suffer after giving up love..My Aunt is 54 years old..she gave up her love some 30 yrs ago.. i have not seen a day go by where she docent regret it .. you don't want to wake up for the rest of your life and think..""what if""...there will be tons of opportunity's for dreams..but Mr. Perfect only comes by once..or if he comes by more then once then someone just got lucky....my strongly suggest you give love a chance..its the most beautiful thing that ever happens in life..

I'd definitely say love. I've got plenty of time to do things I want to do, but one doesn't get many chances at all to experience true love. Even if my plan was to be something really great or amazing, I'd still feel empty without the ability to love someone else.

Think a million times if you don’t want to have mistakes. If you found the right one for you, and you are responsible, brave enough to face the consequences of taking that act then go for it. If love is present to both of you, you can build a good relationship with him...
Good luck..

The military requires for you to treat them as your loverboy. They constantly call you up for deployments and training, so it's kind of hard to have a strong and close relationship. You will find yourself in a long distance relationship. In the military nothing comes first but the military just remember that.

go with the one you will regret the least.
I would choose the air force b/c I would be needed more in that field and I would always wonder what it could have been like if I never joined.
