My husband and I are in charge of putting together the gifts for the mother's in our church.

In previous years it was a rolling pin with a poem, homemade soaps, etc...

But what do we get about 50 or so women for under $5-7.00 each?

Also if you have any ideas on what to do as far as for a program too.

In past times we have done poems, a slide show, and had the kids get up and tell funnies....

Hoping other brains out there can help us out.

My friend likes this guy in our class. He isn't interested in that way, and likes me... My friend is very naive and had troubles even calling him...I made plans for a "double date" today for me her, and 2 guys. She at the last minute canceled because she "didn't want to go out to THAT movie" I then asked her if tomorrow worked, and she said tomorrow was great. I then called up the guy she liked and made secret plans for him to meet me and my friend at the movie theater. I called her up, and told her that her and i were going to go to the movies..she then came up with an excuse to NOT go ....I told the guy that i would call him back tomorrow with the time of the movie...I feel really bad...What should I do :\!

Does anyone else find that for the first time in their lives they don't know what they want? How the hell do we find out? When asked by the person I'm seeing if I wanted a committed relationship, I had no idea, and believe me I've thought about it ever since (this was over a month ago!) and I still don't know! My 12 year relationship ended (by me, amicably, and no, there are no unresolved feelings) over eight months ago and I've been seeing the new person for 4 months. My lack of resolve has nothing to do with the person, he's fantastic. Has this happened to anyone else and how did you handle it? All answers will be appreciated!!

For those of you who answered my previous question. I told my grandma that I do not want my children staying the night at her house because my uncle is strung out on drugs in the basement. She completely brushed me off and told me that all he was doing was smoking. I told her that the evidence to me shows he's doing more than that and I don't want my children around it. I told her she is more than welcome to come to my house and I will still come visit, but I can't let my kids stay the night. She told me that was fine and she completely wrote us off for the sake of her son. She is willing to break all ties with her family for him and she doesn't care that we all have tried to help. She thinks we are out to get her and my uncle and that it's our fault that things are the way they are. She is willing to never see me or my children again all to "be there" for my uncle. It is such a hard situation. I am sick to my stomach now. Why do I feel so terrible?

Last year my husband "confessed" that he had been talking to someone about our "problems". Come to find out it was a mutual friend of ours (female). Later down the road I found out they had been talking and meeting each other and eventually after we separated they had sex. After a 3 month separation we were sitting down to talk about divorce (which I didn't want b/c I believe in us and our marriage) and he said that he didn't want to loose me and made a huge mistake. While we were seperated I was invited by his brother and my sister-in-law to stay with them b/c I had no place to go. After we are reconciled for a couple of months he tells me that he has a problem with his family "choosing" me over him and he doesn't know if he can forgive them or myself for the way we treated him while him and I were seperated.
I love him and really want my marriage to work ( I am strong believer in commitment and not quitting) Somtimes I feel likeI am I the only person that would work so hard at this

3 weeks ago my ex-bf called me & asked me to go see a movie with him. The weird thing is that HE was the one who dumped me, we only dated for one month AND this call came after one year. I said yes, he picked me up, then as soon as the movie was done he drove me home. It felt kinda rushed, on the drive home when I asked him why he wanted to see he said, "I wanna see you every once in awhile". We never had sex cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. During this year although he never asked me to see him, he did talk to him on msn. Is he stringing me along & what does he want? I am having my ceremony and reception at the same place. It starts at 5 pm in march, so it will be dark. I don't know if we should have photos done before at say 3 pm, because I hate to ruin the moment of me walking down the aisle towards my fiancee. But there isn't really anywhere inside the hall to take them once the ceremony is over. Anyone ever take them before and did you regret it? any suggestions would be great.
