Does anyone else find that for the first time in their lives they don't know what they want? How the hell do we find out? When asked by the person I'm seeing if I wanted a committed relationship, I had no idea, and believe me I've thought about it ever since (this was over a month ago!) and I still don't know! My 12 year relationship ended (by me, amicably, and no, there are no unresolved feelings) over eight months ago and I've been seeing the new person for 4 months. My lack of resolve has nothing to do with the person, he's fantastic. Has this happened to anyone else and how did you handle it? All answers will be appreciated!!

You are perfectly sane if you don't know if you want to be committed to this person yet. You haven't spent enough time together. I'm in a new relationship at this point after a long term relationship and we are doing our best not to rush things. Seriously, we are both depending on the Lord to bring us together if that is what he wants for us. Don't worry, you are doing the right thing for yourself. Life has it's serious moments and this is one of those things where you need to really think things through.

I would try to help out but I have never bounced back from my last relationship. For me a lot of it has to do with it being the best and not finding anyone that I fit with better than that. Its always been my belief if you cannot get someone out of your head, maybe its because they are supposed to be there.
