3 weeks ago my ex-bf called me & asked me to go see a movie with him. The weird thing is that HE was the one who dumped me, we only dated for one month AND this call came after one year. I said yes, he picked me up, then as soon as the movie was done he drove me home. It felt kinda rushed, on the drive home when I asked him why he wanted to see he said, "I wanna see you every once in awhile". We never had sex cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. During this year although he never asked me to see him, he did talk to him on msn. Is he stringing me along & what does he want? He's 26 while I'm 21.Some say he wants sex, but he knows my beliefs and he can get anywhere since a lot of girls put out. Will he ask me to hang out again or was that only a one time thing. I want him to aks e one more time just to see if what he said in the car was true. Is he just sacred to let go completely, what's his deal? WHY did he wanna see me after one whole year?

He has done a soul inventory. You are some unfinished business.

Did you see him take or make a phone call? He may have had somewhere else to be, whether he knew ahead of time or not. He may have been using you, perhaps to make a current girlfriend jealous, or because he was being ignored by a girl he likes. Or he was simply curious about you, and possibly a little lonely.

It's possible that he'd like to maintain the relationship so that, when both of you are ready, he can pursue something more permanent with you. Or maybe he just likes you and would like to keep you as a friend. At any rate, I don't see any problem with what you are describing.

Maybe he was just lonely. That happens to everybody now and then.

Or maybe he was just checking to see if you had changed your mind on the virginity thing. That happens too. (Most chastity pledges are broken before marriage.)

It feels good to some guys to get a girl... then gradually push her limits... treat her bad... dump her......... then snap your fingers and she comes willingly back for another date.

I don't do that, but some guys do.
