How about something like a carnival? There is nothing kids like as much as a bouncy castle.

Do you still want your wedding to have a formal feel? Maybe do a casino night theme? Not sure how to include the kids in that though.

I went to a wedding at an apple orchard once that had hay rides and bocceball and all that sort of thing.

You could go t oa resturant to eat. If it is a smaller gathering, a dance won;t really work because in order fo rit to be a dance, everyone would have to be on the dancefloor! You could have a wine tasting (have mocktails for the kids) or have entertainers come.

Well, I guess you could play Twister. Your poor guests, not being able to dance at your wedding! Yikes!

bbq/picnic at the beach or lake.... if there is going to be a meal at the reception then maybe you could have light snacks at the picnic (cookies, chips, dip etc)
