well i asked her out and she said i'll think about it and then after a week her friends told me she said no. But after that whole thing she began to be really shy around me and we don't really talk anymore. she looks at me alot during class and looks away when i look. did she say no to hide that she liked me? she also trys to get my attention alot. i'm just not sure what to think anymore. does she like me?i've also been ignoring her lately. what should i do now?

It doesn't sound like she's hiding the fact that she likes you. If she did she would have said yes. She probably said she'd think about it so she wouldn't have to hurt your feeling, then had her friends do it for her.
She's acting strangely because she feels strangely. She doesn't know if your broken hearted or if you'd try to make a move on her or if your angry with her. And she probably feels guilty about turning you down the way she did. I'll bet she feels like she led you on by saying she'd think about it. She sound like a sweetheart.
You should talk to her. Not about you asking her out, but about whatever you would talk about before you asked her out. Show her that nothing has changed and slowly but surely she'll return to normal and you can both put this behind you.

It sounds to me like she is regretting telling you no. That could be why she is shy around you; she might be afraid of how you think of her now that she turned you down. But you need to talk to her. Don't ignore her, because it will frustrate her and she'll end up forgetting about you or giving up. Trust me on this point- I know how it feels to be ignored by someone who likes you or you like, and its a horrible feeling. If she tries to get your attention, GIVE it to her. Because that is what she is going for, isnt it? She wants your attention because it gives her a feeling of security.

Get another girlfriend. If she takes a whole week to think about it, and still says no then she's not hiding anything. It'll make her jealous and it will make you feel better about yourself, good stuff for ignoring her

Continue to ignore her. Girls hate that. Makes them like the person even more....if she likes you at all. Sounds like she just might not be in to you. I'd start looking somewhere else. At the same time, you can be ignoring her. Good Luck!

Sounds like she is taking some advice from her friends. Sometimes when a girl likes a guy and her friends don't, she will go with what they say. Sad but true. Hang in there, I am sure there are plenty of other girls who will say, "yes". :)
