My husband never gives me any gifts nor says anything about Happy Anniversary, Happy Valentines day or Happy Birthday. He is happy when someone does something for HIM for an occasion but he doesn't do anything for me. Is this normal with guys or ?? I think it's pretty thoughtless myself :(

we have along distnce realtionship (peaple who think that long distance realtion doesnt work, plz dont answer) and wenever we talk bout sex, i get nice sensation, but i never ever get orgasm wen we talk though he always get it, i think bout our conversation whole day and reaally like thinking bout its, but dont bget that final feeling, is this a problem, we have never done it , as we r in long distance realtionship, will we have this problem wen we do it, he asks me my prefrences and all, and everything, then hwere is the problem ??

My boyfriend's dad was in the army, and my guy commented recently on how he may join the Air Force when he gets out of college. He has all these dreams of being in the military even though he's asthmatic and blind in one eye. Although I've heard that Airmen have a less dangerous life than guys in the army, I still don't want to be with a military guy, especially if we have to move all the time or he gets sent overseas. At the time, I wanted to say, "You can do it without me." But I didn't because I didn't know if it would be wise to issue an ultimatum if he didn't even know he wanted to do it. Should I say anything about it the next time he brings it up, or broach the subject myself? I don't want to wait for him to graduate and be with me, only to have him decide he's going to join the Air Force and go God knows where. Am I wrong to feel this way? Should I worry at all? How do I deal with this?

i am 34, only child, and daddy's lil girl...atleast i thought til 11pm tonite.i was talkin to my dad and just casually mentioned that he got married to the woman he is been dating for 15 yrs. Now mind u nobody knew..or so i didnt know. Plus, he just told me he had prostate Cancer on Jan. 1st 2007. plus he goes to surgery on friday...so i asked why the marriage now ..my first thought was that he is farther gone with the Cancer then he is letting on..to be 52 damn near 53 yrs old and going out to get married without anybody knowing..he said they had been planning it...what the h---!!! and u didnt tell your only babygurl? even though i am not real fond of the mate now wife. but even so, to say lookahear im getting marrried and thats final..would have been better than =basiclally "we eloped"...i am hurt..do u think i should be and how would u handle it? i am scared that he is sicker than letting on. what should i do? .i know i am spoiled so that's not the answer or suggestion.

Something had been going on between me and this guy for about seven months before we finally slept together. We'd stopped talking at 1 point after he took me on a date & then didn't invite me to his new years party, but I forgave him because he was trying to end things w/ this girl & he thought it would be awkward if i was there. He broke things off w/ her on new years & we started talking again. About 3 weeks ago he assured me he wasn't pushing me away and that he liked me. We finally slept together but afterwards all he did was put his performance down and say he was sorry it was disapointing for our 1st time.It's been a week & has ignored my phone calls, I know he's embarrsed & i wasn't expecting a relationship but he shouldn't treat me like that. He's also started talking to this other girl.Do I never call him again or call him and tell him that he shouldn't treat me like that & that he is an a**whole. Which is more effective in making him feel bad and makes me come out ahead?

I broke up with my daughter's dad when I was 3 months pregnant. Never heard from him since, which is fine with me. I broke up with him for a reason. I live at home with my family, because financially I can't move out. I am on a debt consolidation, paying a super high amount still. I work part-time, and am looking for full-time work. I took a buyout offer from my high paying job at the same time I broke up with my daughter's father. I do not want her father in the picture, and do not want to get welfare, etc, because they try to find the father to get child support. I can't stand living at home...my mom babysits, and also tries to take control. I can't afford daycare, or my own place, and I'm in such a rut. Any ideas on how to cope with this, or what I can do, or how to find a good job? This is awful.

Hi I have a friend who is depressed because her father has emotionally abused her for the last 21 years; she has been called names of all sorts, and put down in the worse way possible while also been compared to people that have no meaning to her, ( EX. The father: Why can’t you lose the weight, study and work, Nicky Dose, and she’s a full time worker, and student. My friend: (she said nothing in fear that her father would say the following (Are you giving me an attitude) so while the father continues to insult her, she sits there and takes it! I need you help, what can be done about this, she has no job nor nowhere to go, she feels trap! any help is always welcome! thanks

I made a lovely Valentine's Day dinner for my husband homemade mash potatoes, rib eye steak, Red velvet cake, and buttermilk biscuits. He walked in the door didn't wish me a Happy Valentine's Day or didn't even have a card in his hand. All he said was is the food ready. I got really upset. I went to kitchen why he was sitting in the living. I voiced my angry. I yelled I'm tired of this year after you do this to me not getting me anything or wishing me a Happy Valentine's Day. I said I have to tell you this every year. I throw the pot down in the sink. All can remember the next thing he was in the kitchen with hands around my throat. We started arguing about the situation. Then he hit me in my eye. I fell to my knees next thing I seen him with a 30 lbs dumb bell looking as if he would hit me with it. I screamed to the top of my lungs. He laughed at me and said no I'm not going to get you anything.

It was Valentine's Day. My husband gave me absolutely nothing. Not a card, present, nothing. He didn't even wish me a happy valentine's day. This is not the firest time he has been UNromantic. I got him a card and gift. Rather he went up to the fire hall and left me home alone with the kids. I said something but he didn't say anything back. I find myself the one always making the effort in the romance dept. Yet he always will kiss me "goodbye" when he leaves somewhere. Do u think I should have said something to him? I just said "you didnt' get me anything" and he said no. He never buys me nothing special or romantic. He's a total romantic dud. He wont even hold my hand! Is it me? Or is it him?
