You mean "what is the right age for getting married?" :)

Anyway, I think that by the time someone is between 22 and 24, they're sometimes mature enough to handle all the mental, emotional and financial responsibilities of marriage. Not always, however. I certainly wasn't at that young age. *chuckle*

As for an age that's "too old", I don't think there is one. A lot of people these days are getting married for the first time in their 30s, and I expect to be one of them. And then there's the case of widows and widowers finding love again, long after their spouse has died. One of my Great-Aunts married for the second time in her 80s! :)

I don't think there is a right age to get married. I do, however, feel that you should "deserve" it. I mean, I have been with the same guy for seven years. We moved to California together and live in a studio apartment and are poor as hell. But we are not going to get married until we deserve it. We are paying our student loans and our rent and that's about all we have money for. But when we get married, we want to be able to support each other. That is what marraige is all about. SUPPORTING each other. When you are married, you are no longer two, but one. You are still individuals, but you are part of another person, and another life. Compromise and communication are keys and trust and respect are as well. You need to be able to mentally support that person as well as financially support that person.

Has not to do with age it has to do with maturity and communication. Can you talk about what ever bothers both of you and not get mad. If some one says something about the other do you wait till you ask your lover or jump to conclusions. What age is right changes with the country and maturity of the people.

Well a very very wise lady once explained to me that young marriages are likely doomed because people change so drastically between the teen years and mid twenty's and often 'grow' in different areas and one day discover that's a stranger in their bed.

There is no exact right age, but it's an ingenious idea to wait for the mind and the heart to mature first, cause they can play nasty tricks on you...and that usually happens after 25...or is it 85? I forget...;)

Somewhere in your 30's that way you have the running out of you ,and the foolishness and the thinking you no it all.And if you are a woman you still have time to start a family.

PS. People stop being so mean she or he said it the way she or he wanted to say it. I understood what was said and so did you.
