I am starting to get serious with a very nice lady, however she gets hurt if I talk about some of my friends. Because of how I was raised I have a hard time being close friends with guys. I have stopped talking with several women because I am serious about her. But I don't think its fair for me to have to stop talking with others that I have known for a long time and know every well. I am not a player, but genuinuly care out my other friends well being. I have also had at least one friend try to kill herself. The problem I have is that I am gifted with being able to help others. I have been told that I would make a good therapist and now feel as though that is my calling. I really like this lady and don't want to lose her. She is not jelous or controlling but I really get the impression that she is not happy about me talking with my friends that are women. I told her I have nothing to hide. All of her friends are guys? What is your opinion. This woman is very special to me.

We are dealing with a situation where my 40 yr. old uncle lives in my grandma's basement and is strung out on cocaine and can't get a job. It's been a problem for almost 3 years now. We have confronted my grandma on the issue but she refuses to admit that there is a problem or believe that he is on drugs. She just thinks he is still hurting form his divorce and that she needs to be there for him. We can't even make her understand the legal side of allowing him to do drugs in her home. She wants to take my children for the weekend and I just cannot allow them to be in a home where drugs are present. I know it's going to upset her and hurt her feelings. But I want her to understand that as long as she is allowing drugs into her home, than she will not have my children over there. Their safety and welfare is far more important than her sons issues. How can I explain this to her and make her understand the severity of the issue?

We are getting married on July Fourth and we want everything red white and blue including the cake. I have a family member willing to make it for us at no charge just have to know what I want it to look like. Here is what I am thinking about- four double tiers white icing with half strawberrries standing on end all the way around bottom of each tier and finding small blue artificial flowers to put between every few stawberries. What do you all think or do you have any better ideas?

The man I love with all of my heart told me that he's leaving our home and wants to be on his own. Before, we were plannning on getting married and we were so in love. My child has caused so much stress in our relationship with her acting out that he feels that he needs to get away from us to get any peace.

I know that it sounds pathetic, but he is special - a one-in-a-million guy who has been nothing but wonderful and supportive in every single way. We never argue and live blissfully alone together. But when my teenager is around, she spoils everything with her moodiness and lazy attitude. We have talked to her until we are blue in the face, but nothing changes. I love her, I do, but she will not comply.

What do I do? I adore him and I can't imagine what I will do without him. I know that he loves me too, but we can't get past this problem with my daughter. How can I make him stay? What can I tell him? He knows that there's nothing that I wouldn't do to make him happy

I had a child with a girlfiend 3 years ago. She packed up and left to another state without my knowlege. She does not contact me or send me photos. i have tried contacting her, but she will not talk to me. She will not talk to my family. Nothing! I am paying child support right now, and i am wondering is it wrong of me to sign over my rights so she can go on and live her life? and how do i go about signing over my parental rights?? i could really use the help here

i was told (get this ) by my fiance that i am not a good father or a real man ? but about a week ago and way before that she said that i was a great father and she also wanted to have a child with me, does that make sense ? all this started on monday when she called to tell me that i should apoligze to her because i sad that monday was not a holiday and she said it was and i said who cares it's not something to call me at work to tell me, then she say that a real man will apoligze and take blame and i am not a role modle for mey 10year old son oh yea she is 33 and i am 37

I have been friends with a guy for almost 10 years, he's one of my best friends. Recently though we were talking and he said some things that kind of have me confused. He knows I'm single and seem to have no luck with guys lately but he has a girlfriend. He was asking what kind of guy I was looking for and then proceeded to ask if I would date someone like him. After giving him my answer, which was yes, he told me that he and his girlfriend have been fighting a lot lately. I'm a female with a guy friend. It is not an intimate friendship, I'm married and I would never cheat on my husband. My friend has a girlfriend and they have known each other for 6 years. Do you think that it is right for his girlfriend to insist that my friend not make any attempts to perform simple acts of kindness such as giving me a card on my birthday? My friend constantly tells me that he can't be the way he used to be because he doesn't want to upset his girlfriend. This issue has caused major arguments but he always gives in and she wins. He is upset about hurting me but feels as if he is caught in the middle. Part of me wants to be understanding and the other part of me wants to tell him to grow a set of balls and stop allowing himself to be p---ywhipped. I don't think that it is right for a girfriend to tell her boyfriend who he can or can't treat as a friend.

So we have been friends for years, not close, but friends. On friday we had a crazy night and some good stuff happened. She says she's not good at relationships and previously she's had problems with guys being too needy. Also that she doesn't want to hang out with them all the time..... ok... that's cool, of course it is, I don't want to hang out with her all the time either! But it's put me on the back foot. Should I text at all? I want to let her know I'm interested, dinner tomorrow perhaps? BUt I don't want to scare her off by being too keen......
