I met a girl that I really liked and she seems very nice. she talks to me not too often, but she does talk to me. Does anyone have any ideas how I can attract her?

I know that I should be confident and ask the girl out, but what if I'm the shiest guy at school? Other girls have been attracted but I really like this one. Any funny jokes or tips i could use would be helpful.

RSB just be yourself don't try to be someone you are not cos that will just turn her off. Next time she talks to you ask her about herself as every girl also enjoy being listened to. Show you are a good listener ask her lots of questions about herself (what she does in her free time, films, books, anything really!) find a common interest and that will be a good topic! Also compliment her (nothing cheesy like your eyes etc etc!!) try saying that she is funny (if she tells you something funny!!!), tell her that her hair looks nice (I love that one), that maybe she smells nice (if she is wearing a perfume etc), you can then ask her what it is etc. You could ask her advice i.e. I want to buy a present for my sister/girl cousin etc etc.
I think the key is to show her your personality. If you hit it off then you can ask her out for a date but dont ask her straight off. Tomorrow, Valentines Day may be a good time to send her an anonymous card maybe? You could put a hint in there if you feel brave?! Use tomorrow, it only comes round once a year and is great if you are single to flirt a bit!

Do not act too interested. It could be mistaken as desperate.
Be super clean and successful.
I do not know how old you are, and that makes a huge difference on the answer that would apply to your situation.
If you are in high school: have a few short conversations with her and if she seems like she wants to keep talking, that is a sign that she finds you interesting. If she breaks off the conversation, she is just being polite to you and you should just forget it.
If you are beyond high school: Make sure you have a good job or you are at least studying to get a better job. Smart gals like guys with a future.

Keep up the good work and the flow of conversation and get to know her.
Ask her useful questions like what things does she like, films, music etc. Don't be too obvious why you want to know, just take a genuine interest in the the stuff she likes to chat about. Make a mental note of anything useful e.g. look into what films are out or coming out that she might like - cinema is a great first date (saves on awkward moments of silence - although it doesn't sound like you will have a problem there). Also make sure you let her know when you are interested in the same stuff and let her know your perspective without being to confrontational (not sure if I'm saying what I really mean and this point - hard to explain?).
She'll like the fact that you're interested in what she likes, which will instantly make you more attractive to her.
Make sure you take note of how flirty she is in her responses, check out her body language.

Just be yourself, smile and make casual conversation with her. Women like it when guys compliment them on their smile or what they are wearing. Talk to her like a human being, not just a 'piece of meat'

Approach her more, and flirt with her. Show your great personality, and it won't fail. It doesn't hurt to dress up for her, just a little bit, and make sure you wear a great cologne, because girls love that.

Be yourself. You could txt her, or email her. I would just chat to her, and ask if she wants to go for a drink. If your getting on really well, ask her out on a date.
