I've been with my boyfriend 3 years. Lately a few of my friends are talking about getting married, and with valentines day coming around.....well...I got to talking with my boyfriend about marriage, and he's flat out against getting married. He said the ceremony was a waste of time and money, and getting married legally doesn't change anything..so why get married?? Well I want a wedding, I'm kinda the traditional one in the relationship. I don't want a big one but I still want one.....The kicker is that a while back (maybe a year), he was telling me what kind of ring he was going to buy me, and what the ceremony would be like and who would be invited....So I want to know...WHY the change in heart??? And WHAT do I do about it?? He said he loves me and wants to be with me forever, so WHAT gives????

so yeah, i've known ever since we've been together that my girlfriend is no dime .. in fact I would describe her as a fat-and-fugly FIVE, but it dont matter cause i dont go out with her in public and she craves the "D" like a crack addict craves a hit. But yeah, lately my girls face has been looking greasier than a grilled cheese sandwich, and it is really starting to bother me. It feels like it should squeegie her face and use the grease as cooking oil, ya know, make the stuff usefull. Anyway, does anyone have any advice?

Hey, I'm a freshman in college and I recently fell head over heels for my ex-girlfriends best friend. I have spent the last month getting my ex ok with the idea so shes not a problem in that aspect. However, my ex says I don't stand a chance partially due to the fact that she bad mouthed me a lot during our break up. So anyways I am currently trying to prove to my ex-girlfriends friend that I am a decent guy and worth going out with. This is a problem to some extent because I don't see her very often, I'm not very good with conversation, and this chick makes me nervous. So basically I am in a pickle.... I like a chick that is friend of my ex, she doesn't seem to have any feelings for me at this time, and I lack the conversational skills to change her image of me. Any advice? ......please?

I found out that my boyfriend has had a personals page that says has been active within 24hours. He said that he hasn't gone onto the site for years, but that he checks his yahoo EMAIL daily and that is why it says ''active within 24 hours" on his personals page. I think he is lying, but is this possible?

He has asked her, they have talked about it, she knows he's interested, she used to really enjoy it. Now, for the last 6 or more months she has refused. She is not cheating, she claims she loves him, but that life is so stressful, she's too tired. He's the one who works 2 jobs to keep up with her shopping habit, she takes care of their one child.
Now, he has an opporunity to sleep with someone who is also married and has a bad sex life, too. The other woman knows his situation and wants the same as he does, and doesn't want to harm his family or hers. He loves his wife, he loves his child, he's so torn about what to do. He's also only been married just over a year. A lifetime without ever having sex again seems like a long time.

I really really really like this guy!!!!!!!!?
I have liked this guy for a long time. We don't talk much but he is very sweet, cute, and nice. Whenever we talk it is casual, and I know that he used to like me, but I am pretty sure he doesn't now. My friend mentioned to me a couple of months ago that he randomly mentioned me to her on the bus and asked her whether or not I liked him. She told him I used to but now she wasn't sure. I told her I still liked him and then she told him and she said he seemed pleased but she wasn't positive. Whenever we talk it is about random things. We do have a lot in common, so how do I use that to my advantage? We don't have any classes together, so I can only talk to him before school and during lunch and we sit faraway from each other. What should I do? I am 14 years old, in 8th grade, and have liked him since 5th grade. We were really good friends. He said I was someone he could always talk to and that I was a good listener. He said this when I was li

My first best friend, after 6 years of being friends, we don't talk no more. I just didn't like the fact that "Whatever she said was the right thing to do or say but whatever someone else says it's wrong."

My second best friend, I have been friends with her for 7 years. But these days, I don't trust her because in high school, she talked behind my back ones and I never forgot about that.

My third best friend, I just didn't like the fact that she smiled at people and be nice, But behind their back she would talk about them.

Is the reason why I don't have best friend is it because of me?

There are these two guys in my physiology class (I am a junior in college). They keep staring at me in general, and then laughing and whispering. I'm becoming very uncomfortable as I'm wondering what the reasons might be for such funny behavior? I mean, is there something on my face? Everyone I've talked to says that I should ignore them...and I am doing that. What do you guys think?

I am 14 and have never had a boyfriend or have never been kissed. My friend also is the same way but everybody makes fun of her and calls her a lesbian. Is this true because most people don't have their first bf/gf until they are like 16....right?

Let's say there are 100 young women, aged 18-25, and all of them are single as in "not married" but all 100 have boyfriends.

If all 100 were approached by a reasonably good-looking guy asking for their telephone number, how many of them would give it out? I'm curious to hear how people will answer this question. What do you think?

Well, i like my ex-bfs cousin but i don't know how to get the attention of him.

- He is a skater, kool, nice and cute
- We live like about 10-25 miles away from each other.
-We go to different school
- Yesterday i asked him for an opinion that was what color should i paint my highlights and he told me red and i did that. I don't know what do no more.
-I really like him
-We don't have no one for this Valentine's Day (this will be the first year)

P.S HE IS NOT GOING OUT WITH SOME ONE.

I make friends easily and that haas always been a skill of mine. But whenever it comes to keeping them, I suck. I get attached to friends and once we get close I feel uncomfortable and uneasy. This is the same with guys, I dont like emotions and I think lovey dovey stuff is totally unnecessary. Can anyone help me get close to friends without freaking out?

That question should really be, "When should I tell her," because it seems that there is always somebody walking with her. I really don't want to ask her out when she has somebody with her. So, how do I tell her that I like her? By the way, I'm a freshman in high school.

Hey folks, I'm a grad student here in the midwest, and it's my first year. I'm working with another grad student, a guy, in his fourth year, who's almost done with his PhD work. He's pretty much been a colleague and mentor over the past few months since September. He's really cute, and I've developed a crush on him. Here's the thing: I'm a guy too. I know he's gay (for sure -- long story), and I'm just starting to come out. Should I tell him about my crush and ask him out? He doesn't know I'm gay (or that I might be...)

It's been about 5 months since I broke up with the woman I thought was the love of my life. But, she has had a long and crazy life, and near the end of our relationship starting doing more and more drugs and I just couldn't handle it any more, since I was struggling myself. As I was leaving she was screaming how much she hated me and hoped she never saw me again. We've stayed in touch to a degree, talking about once every 2 weeks, but today she called me apologizing about what she had said, and basically confessed her undying love for me. She plans to go to rehab within a week. but I can't help but worry that she is trying to get back together with me simply because I'm a stable, simple guy she can be safe with. Am I being too cynical or am I correct in worrying about her motivations?
