Hey, I'm a freshman in college and I recently fell head over heels for my ex-girlfriends best friend. I have spent the last month getting my ex ok with the idea so shes not a problem in that aspect. However, my ex says I don't stand a chance partially due to the fact that she bad mouthed me a lot during our break up. So anyways I am currently trying to prove to my ex-girlfriends friend that I am a decent guy and worth going out with. This is a problem to some extent because I don't see her very often, I'm not very good with conversation, and this chick makes me nervous. So basically I am in a pickle.... I like a chick that is friend of my ex, she doesn't seem to have any feelings for me at this time, and I lack the conversational skills to change her image of me. Any advice? ......please?

Go for it !!!!!! What can it hurt . ?? You have ever right to be happy like the next guy. So what if shes friends with your EX !!!!
If you love someone go for it !!! I mean the worst that a chick can do is tell you they don't like you like that !!!! then you can move on but give it a shot first man !!!!!!!

Not such a good move on your part, you said it all when you said your ex bad mouthed you to her. She has only one opinion of you right now, changing her mind about you is going to take some work, because you have to find a way to undo all that your ex did. And in most girls minds if you were such a great guy, she would still be with you.and just because your ex is alright with it, maybe her friend isn't.Maybe she would be uncomfortable about dating you.Just putting some facts out there for you,but go for it. Good luck

And you don't want the commen sense answer of Get over her and find someone new. Okay, I can do that when you meet the new girl after this one shoot you down faster than Superman can catch Lois Lane. Remember noone told you so.

don't do it because thats just wrong. I mean think about it even though you are not with your ex any more how would you feel if your bestfriend went with her. just the thought of him doing everthing you did with her. It's just not good to come between friends.
