I have this serious problem about approaching boys and talking to them. well but when i'm on aim or something, i can totally talk to them and make friends with them you know? so i talked to this guy to make friends like an year ago and we became pretty close . online i mean. but when we met each other at school i got shy and said hi and walked away. from then on, he would say hi to me when we saw each other but i just got shy and so our relationship just got really weird and awkward! so we no longer even say hi to each other anymore! but i really like him now. what should i do? please help im desperate

You're nervous because you dont actually have to talk TO the person online, and now you do. Trust me, you'll find just talking face to face with him much more interesting and fun than online interaction. Just ease your way into saying a little more than hi to him in the hallways. If you avoid him, he might think something's wrong or you dont like him...

Just walk on over and say hi. Smile. Laugh about how nervous you are. Go ahead and be honest. He'll think it's cute.

i agree with you it is easer to talk on aim amd messager then in person. all i can sugest is trying when you see him to strike up a conversation by starting with hi and ask him how his day is going. at least it will help you get started. i hope this helps.....

just say hello again and let yourself be shy in that its ok .. that awkward feeling that you get well laugh it off and hang tight because it will pass in a few minutes-----> just say hello !

talk to him online again....then talk to him whenever you see him and start a convo like.... what is your favorite color...then ask him if he wants to hang out some time.... when you do....go somewhere to eat then you will be forced into a conversaton....
