I've been married for 17yrs. and have 2 daughters, ages 6yrs & 11yrs old. My mother recently died and I have no one emotional support or family. My husband calls me horrible names, belittles me and chastizes me in front of anyone including my girls. He also goes through my things, hides or destoys my belongings and lies to me about everything. He only gives me a small amount of money to provide for my girls and bills. Of which is not enough to provide. I don't know what he does with the majority of his income. He won't tell me. I have woken up on several occasions to him whispering terrible things in my ear. I pretend to stay sleeping. He threatens to take my girls away from me constantly. I have no resources, no friends, and no family. I'm so depressed and at a loss. Please help me.

Given that everything else about this guy is cool. He doesn't use drugs, he isn't abusive... Just the typical "nice guy" who happens to not make a lot of money. Be honest. The question isn't whether or not it matters if the guy earns less than a woman, the question is about whether or not YOU would marry a guy who makes less than you. What if he makes a lot less than you? Would you be embarrassed? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Last night my sisters boyfriend made me drink alchol, and I mean at least a bottle i think. He did not ovibously phyisically force me. But I was pressured to do it, then i got drunk!! And the thing is im 13. and yeah my sister was right beside me when this was happening but she didn't really say much. What should i do.

my last girlfriend told me I was just too big for comfort - she didnt elaborate so it left me wondering

at 6'5" 290 lbs very athletic build and 8.5" down below I guess i am not small - do you think that's too big? What's your ideal?

and yes I do know its about using well, with a lovely long warmup, whatever you have got and I certainly try to constantly improve my education in that department!

Did it strengthen your relationship? Did it make it worse? Why did you feel you had to it?

My partner is currently working in a Poland for a days....infact he's due back tomorrow. I have missed him terribly . ....but also, I can't help but feel that we should do this more often. I've been under a terrible strain with work and adjusting to moving in with him (7 months ago)....sometimes a break would be nice but I feel almost guilty from feeling it. Of course I mean a break from each other....I'm not interested in finding someone else, I just think some individual space would be nice. Opinions and suggestions please

My boyfriend keeps hiding porno mags and videos in our house. I have never had a problem with this at all and I said that he dosen't need to hide it away, maybe we could watch together. He never wants to. I keep finding this stuff in various places and it's starting to annoy me. By hiding it he is making it look seedy even though he knows I don't have any issues with it. Loads of men would love a girlfriend like me! Any men on here able to explain why he still keeps hiding it and why he can't share this with me?? It's starting to affect the relationship...

I am getting married this year and am having trouble choosing who to walk me down the aisle. My stepfather has been in my life for 12 years and has been my caregiver basically. My real dad was around, but never contributed his time, money etc. I feel like I should ask my stepdad, but dont want o hurt my real dad. What should I do? Why would a man who lives with a female, leave a phone number & e-mail address in his pants pocket??? knowing women check for this type of stuff all the time. Better yet why would he even ask for another females number anyway. Last question if she found the number why would he allow her to call. I asked one of my male friends I was told he wanted her to find it. Is this true they say sometimes men leave stuff out on purpose so there women can find it.

everything was burnt in her house including her dog and cat. her families safe but she lost everything! all her clothes and everything is gone. i want to know how to help but i dont know if giving her clothes and money would make her feel like shes poor and needs it since im not that good of friends what her, i dont know how she would accept it.

I know my best friend is just looking out for me, but I feel she might unintentionally be sabatoging what could be a relationship. The guy I'm seeing is best friends with her best guy friend. So she tells me everything. Everything she's said so far is really not that bad but, she just keeps telling me to drop him. Having me know all this stuff makes me want to forget about him, but then I'll feel like maybe it's just because she's making him look negative in my eyes. What do you think.. For my sisters birthday, which is February 2, she got a Nintendo DS. For my birthday, I got a 70 dollar bike. Here, a Nintendo DS costs 130 dollars. My sister said, "That isn't fair that Erika got her birthday present before her birthday!" First of all, it was the night before my birthday. Second of all, my dad wouldn't be here the next day because he was taking a trip up to Delaware. And just a few days ago, she got mad at me because I wouldn't let her ride my bike so she threw it down on the ground and the pedal broke off. Is that fair of my parents to do that?

my bf broke up with me about 5 months ago, now he has got a new woman who is pregnant (posibly with his kid but the timing is off so personally i dont think its his) and he has only known her for four months now they are getting married on the first of march, (like 2 weeks from now) i still love him with all my heart and it hurts so much to know that he is marrying the wrong person, how do i make him see that i am right for him, we were together for two years, and they were great, he doesnt even really know this woman. i still talk to him for at least an hour a day, and i have told him i still love him, what else can i do??

My ex and I for the most part behave amicably toward each other. But he still slacks off with visitation.

When he does come...(2x in last two years) I have made a nice dinner and let him have time with our daughter while I cleaned up.
No problems, very smooth. And I never give him a hard time.

He sent something for her birthday and xmas in 2004 and 2005. But then nothing this past year. It really hurts my daughters feelings that he didnt send anything. As i guess she got used to it for a couple years. I try not to say anything bad about him in front of her. She spent hours making a scrap book for him and copying photos. And he hasn't even bothered to pick it up.
He is 33 years old and says he has changed and grown up, but he is the same idiot as ever.
Is there anything that I can do to help him realize the damage he is causing our child? How can I encourage him to be responsible and use his visitation? Is he just a hopeless ***? Why are we always last in line?
