I like this guy he has an stud and i have never fancied a guy with an earring before, is it tacky my mum always slags guys who wheree them and i used to aswell but i cant stop thinking about him. what do yous think is it common like chavish (only english people will know what that means! sorry!)

This guy is just expressing himself the way he wants to. So a guy with a diamond stud is okay. In my experience of judging people based on how they look, I'm usually wrong..so its best not to assume. =) Plus you could be missing out on a great guy because you are focused on if the stud is okay or not.
So I say look beyond his stud and see if this is the kind of guy you fancy or not.

I think it's fine.
My 13 yr old son has a stud diamond earring and it looks good and the girls seem to like it

If you're old enough to date you're old enough to form your own opinions of what you like or don't like, regardless of what your mum says...
I find earrings sexy on a lot of guys....it would depend on how it looks on him and the size of it...I certainly wouldn't discount going out with someone based only on that reason though...even if I really disliked earrings on guys...

Well my sister maried a guy with a stud and he's nice...I guess it just depends on the guy.
