i am quite a shy girl myself. and i'll tell ya, most girls get even more shy when they're around the guy they like. for most of us it just takes a simple gesture that shows you're interested too and then we'll open up. after i joined the cheer team at my school it helped me become more outgoing and confident. now i really don't have that much of a problem being flirtacious with guys. and it's true, we might want to take it slow... but you might want to ask first, because shy girls can take it just as heavy as outgoing girls

whether a girl is shy or outgoing, i think it's important you know something about the person you're about to be in a relationship with.

I use to be shy, but that was because I was very naive.
Now, I learnt to develop with it rather than show passivity to many situations.

sometimes - but mainly she just wants to make sure that you like her - shy people are usually insecure.
