Would you date a person that apparently has very poor speaking and writing skills? They seem uneducated when you talk to them. They mean well, and grew up in the same city, but simply can't put a sentence together? You spend more time trying to figure out what they're trying to say than holding a real conversation. You're probably wonder why I'm sticking around right? Well he's sweet and it feels like I should stick it out to see if there's more, but what's the point? Would you continue on with it?

It probably sounds shallow, but how would you cope with it?

I get a lot of guys saying that they can't figure out "what type of person" I am or saying they "can't figure (me) out." My female friends say that it is common for men to "type" people. To me, it should be as simple as just knowing I treat him well and that I'm a good person. I am guessing this may be one of those Mars vs. Venus things. Can someone please help me understand? I know he's into me. But I get this from a lot of men. I am 31.

It was my sophomore year, and I would dare say I was looked upon as "cute" by many girls who lived on the floor upstairs. My best friend for the past 10 years has repeatedly slept with all my boyfriends...problem is, she had never met any of them, she got the info from my sister!! I suppose I shouldn't call her my best friend...

Also she uses me for money, my car, my friends, my name (for VIP entrance to clubs) and for alcohol. You'd think she was attached to me. She's always crying about her last drama, and she starts up new drama straight after!! She only comes around when she needs something or wants to be seen with me, and I'm up to my neck with it!!

I've recently moved and am beginning a career that involved Hollywood and the press. What should I do?

I am 14 and I have a boyfriend that is one year older than me. My dad thinks I'm too young but if it was up too him, I wouldn't even be able to goanywhere unless he's there. He is over protected. He fusses if a FRIEND guy calls and he fuss when I go to the park after school. (Even though the park is right next to the school). I call and let my mom know where I am but he still continues to fuss. It's all of my friends that I go to the park with. It's usually 3 boys and 3 girls and majority of the time there's grown ups at the park too.

this person really gets under my skin. she's single has no idea about life although she's a teacher. she comments when she doesn't need to just to make herself look bigger than you. she's so miss prissy!!! old fashion although she's only 26yrs old. never had a serious boyfriend but thinks that their lucky when she meets them and still lives at home with her parents and unfortunately she also runs their lifestyle and relationship.. shes someone that cannot be avoided as she's part of the family but i wish that we had nothing to do with her...i think i just need a word that best describes her so that i can keep making excuses for her being such a ungrateful person..pls help i need some reasurance that people like this do exists and that i'm not the only one that has to put up with this.

we just broke up. he said he cant change his mind anymore coz i didnt fight for us when he was still willing to. and now i dont have anything to fyt for anymore. he says he still loves me, but theres this feeling thats hindering him to love me completely. i believe him coz when we were friends he always tells me problems like this. he's honest and i knw him for years. before we got together, we both healed our hearts coz we were goin through our own heartaches before. he proved to me so many times that he loves me and i really saw that before. coz before, i never liked him. i love this guy. he's an emotional kind of person and is very frank with his feelings. he told me that if we were together (ds s a long dstnce relatnship) it wouldnt have to be ths way coz just holding each other would make it all ok. this is what we do when he was stil here. he will be back by may. :(

One of my so called 'friends' is being completely immature - were were really close, becuase went to a small school. Well, during Christmas break I saw her at the mall, and we talked and walked around and stuff. Well, I saw her last week walking to class, and she wouldn't even talk to me ( I was right beside her). When I asked her what was wrong she wouldn't even talk to me - and then she didn't hold the door open. I saw her this week and she was running away from me. Well, when I e-mailed her, she said that she had 'new friends' and that she could depend on them, and that she was having fun and that she had moved on. Here's the thing. She never called me, I always called her. When I asked her to do something, she would always decline. I responded saying that I was hurt ( cause she couldn't even say that to my face) and told her that friendships work both ways, that she needed to call every once in a while too. Did I do the right thing?

What does it mean when I, the boyfriend, call my girlfriend 3 consecutive days, but when I don't call ... she doesn't even bother to call me? I haven't called her since Saturday night. It's going to be Tuesday already, and she hasn't even bothered to call me?

She doesn't have long distance. She would have to use a $2 calling card, which she always has laying around the house. Should I make a big deal out of this? Or are pretty much all girls like this? We've been together a year by the way
