NO! My son is 11 and that's the last thing on his mind. He's all into playing on the computer and outside in the mud......so why is this girls parents letting her "date". To have a friend is okay but more than that is just too young. Tell her not to grow up too fast she needs to be a little girl while she can.

No way! Like going out on dates? I know kids that young say they have a boy/girl friend and it's nothing real serious. Holding hands in school, going to school dances together, etc...but going on "dates" is a little too much for someone that young. I would hope she's not dating older guys.

She is still a child and I mean that in the best possible sense. She may be a bright, wise child, but she is not equipped emotionally to date, and I don't understand why her parents allow it. She needs to develop in age and emotion until she is about 15 or 16 to date. Perhaps her parents don't know, but I'd find that hard to believe, because they should know what she's doing 24/7. Anyway, no, no, no.

As long as it is not a physical relationship and parents are supervising, I don't see the problem with it. My 7 year old niece told me she has 4 boyfriends- but that doesn't mean anything. 11 is too young for serious making out, but holding hands is fine.

Where are her parents? If she is dating at 11 what is she going to be doing at 13? Nothing good can come of it. She'll have a bad reputation before she's 12...how sad.

As in going out with a boy for dinner and a movie and maybe something more? No, that's definitely not cool. At her age, she deserves some supervision and protection.

Of course, if "dating" is something more conservative, that could be ok. It's a judgment call at that point.

Call the Police and report the molester.

At that age the older person is considered a molester. Your friend is a child and deserves to be protected.

Do the right thing and report it.

yea its definatley ok! i started going out when I was 11, and why is that a problem? theres nothing wrong with it, thats the age where you are suppose to be getting interested into the opposite gender.

It depends on what you call dating and for the most parts dating requires money for DATES. She's allowed to make her own decisions but when it comes down to it she's probably not dating. It just sounds cool to call it that.
