I get a lot of guys saying that they can't figure out "what type of person" I am or saying they "can't figure (me) out." My female friends say that it is common for men to "type" people. To me, it should be as simple as just knowing I treat him well and that I'm a good person. I am guessing this may be one of those Mars vs. Venus things. Can someone please help me understand? I know he's into me. But I get this from a lot of men. I am 31.

Thanks.

I don't think I've ever seen a worse list of answers for a question... I cringe every time I see an answer with grammatical mistakes and I nearly had a spasm looking at this one. Anyways, to answer your question...

Honestly, I believe it means that he can't put a simple label to you, that you defy defintion, which can be a very good thing. The best thing for you to do isn't to just nod and say you understand, but to ask the guy what the hell he means by that. Communication is the key to any relationship, and if guys are saying something you don't understand, you need to get an explanation. He obviously means something by it, because you don't just say it to a person. And maybe that is why he's into you. Really, the best thing you can do is either ask him straight up what he means, or just keep being you and ignore it.

Keep being the out-of-the-box person you are, and I'm sure you'll have the guys come running.

Well, anytime a religion is gaining awareness people will try to attribute their own reasoning to it. Just because certain Pagan and Heathen religions are becoming more popular people must be filling in the blanks and assuming that Pagans and Heathens "sell" their beliefs. I don't really know of any instances where a Pagan or Heathen has proselytized in the sense of trying to convert anyone. When we do talk openly about our beliefs most of what I see is Pagans and Heathens primarily doing it for their own educational benefits. There is a lot of learning and plenty of discourse to follow when someone decides to become either Pagan or Heathen so I can see why the information exchange and even the underlying sentiment may be more evident, but from most of what I've seen Pagans and Heathens are a little wary of newcomers because their motives, incentives, and influences are not well known. As a general rule we don't sell our beliefs.

People like to understand what other people's motivations are. Your goals, dreams and aspirations are all important because it helps everyone else understand what your intentions are, and without some understanding of intent, casual mistakes can take on a life of your own.

Has anyone ever stepped on your toes? Did they mean to, or was it an accident while they were getting another beer? If folks know that you were reaching for a beer, it's much more understandable.

In the same way, you can give other folks context about your entire life.

it either means that your complicated and wierd or they r just stupid. which guys most of the time make the simplest of people into these big ordeals like if your girl friends understand you and you hang out and talk. then it is the guy. or just tell them bluntly they don't need to know what kind of person you r or you r a person of many aspects and they will figure it out all in good time.\

you must be my opposite twin! most of my girlfriends and female friends dont get me either. i think its my way of thinking/ sense of humour/ way i do things. but its helpful if you slow down and explain certain things. not everything because i like to be unpredictable but enough not to be thought of as a threat. i probably enjoy it a little too much but i am single so i can get away with it. always be who you are because there is nothing wrong with you but slow down a bit so they can catch up. good luck!

You're too challenging for them you need someone on your level. Maybe you need to put intelligence higher up your list when looking for partners.

in essence, you *mystify* them. they cant figure you out.
they cant quite get a handle on who you are.
You arent like an open book where they can easily *read* you, and know what step to follow next.

Tell them to ask any questions they think might give them a clue. Better yet don't worry about it.
