I am recently single. There is this man that I have been interested in for some time now, but I was in a relationship. I have never been one to ask a man out before. He is really nice, funny, and loves kids which is good since I have kids. I just don't know how to go about asking him out. Does anyone have any suggestions.

I have been going through alot of stress about whether or not i want to be with my ex or not. It basically all boils down to the fact that i dont want a guy right now, but i have no idea how to tell him. I tried, but he said it was fine and that we could be friends with benefits, but i dont think i even want that. I really need time to figure myself out, I am only 19, so i cant be settled down right now... Anybody have any advice?

I've been friends with this guy since school started and we've talked a little bit here and there. However, this past weekend we were talking online and he said that he wanted to see me later that night, and after going to a few parties, I gave him a call pretty late and we hung out. We talked for most of the time, but when I left, he kissed me.

We've talked a little bit since then, and I'd like to see where this can go, but how should I handle this situation?
What should I do to keep this guy interested?

my fiance and i have huge families, and our parents are all retired and dont need to have the burden of worrying about paying for our wedding. we will instead be having (and paying for ourselves) a private ceremony with immediate family (parents, gparents, siblings) in march and then have a larger reception later in the year. we dont know if we should send registry information out with our announcement, because everyone that gets the announcement wasnt invited to the ceremony. i am uncomfortable asking for wedding gifts and there is no wedding! everyone is asking now where we are registered but we are unsure of what to do...do we send out registry info with an announcement of our wedding, or just tell people who ask what we need?? are people obligated to bring presents to a reception? is this insulting?

Well..here is my story..
Im a girl in school who is friends with everyone..I gues you can say im "popualr" I shop good, I get good grades (well..hehe..) Umm, Im just a typical girl. I am also Middle Eastern. I was born in USA, but my parents are both from the middle east. I love my culture, I am muslim too. I love my religion too. Every once in a while, (every year or so) someone will say something like "What do they do in the Middle east?" "What are they hiding??" "ahhh Ghina has a bomb!" but, you know..there joking. Today, a "friend" of mine kept saying things like that, and he called me a terrorist. He made me feel bad, but I didint show it, I just told him to stop..and that it wasint funny and stuff. At the end of class he took my hand and said "you know I love you, im just kidding around" And I was like.."yeah whatever.." And he asked if I forgave him, I said yeah sure, you know whatever. But...What should I do next time this happens? Has this happend to anyone else? Help me out.

My boyfriend and I broke up November. But we’ve still been “together” but will be officially next month when he isn't grounded anymore. He's notices that because I talk a lot w/ his best friend there's something going on between us. So he has heard that I WANT to go out with his best friend so he told me we were finished. My friends who're some of his closest friends are trying to convince him that I NEVER said or WANTED that! All I ever wanted was to have my boyfriend back.
Now he’s deleted me off his friends on myspace and took his best friend off his top friends. But his song is still “On Bended Knee” by Boys II Men. He’s told me he doesn’t want to talk to me, doesn’t care anymore, doesn’t like me anymore because of what’s happened. This all happened this weekend. How can I get him to believe me? To talk to me? My friends say to wait and let him cool off because he’s just being stubborn and will come around cuz that's just him. But i'm scared that this time, i've lost him for good.

I am a christian woman and to some of you that may be an oxymoron but I am a highly addictive person. i am so concerned about trying to get sovber AGAIN, and be a good parent to my daughters, 19 & 20, I know to some of you this may seem like a stupid question but I have no desire to start over and get divorced, what do Christians have to say about my situation? Obviously I have my hands full, and I am a 4th grade teacher. My son Davonte babysits alot I mean he loves too. But my ex-husband had an affair and now bought a new house with this lady and my youngest children Grace and Andrea are starting to call her mommy. me and my ex-husband haven't even been divorced for a month. I am not jealous or anything believe me, but My daughter Jessica and Andrea are attached to there father, should i let him have custody of just Jessica and Andrea? Can i do that? I mean i have alot to handle with work, and the new babies.

Well he left me at the house with the kids.He did not bother to ask me if I wanted to go out with him,and ya'll talk about vows.Ha!He goes out every Sat night and comes home at 5am Im not blind to what is going on.How many husbands in this wrld dogged their wives.Plus,he does not spend any quality or quantity time with our daughter on school wrk.so it's left up to me to see she does well in school.I don't care if he pays the bills or what ever.We do not really have a good marriage anyway.it's a joke.So .......what do you think.?He 's the one that should leave.Im a stay at home mom trying to raise my children .He tells me I don't have no athority in this house hold especially where my kids are concerned.He's living in the stone ages.I believe I can be bad by myself.

My father has terminal cancer and is is very bad shape now. It would be impossible for me to go see him before he died AND his funeral which might not be for a month or so. Lotsw of relatives are puring in now so he has plenty of support. But I was his first son. What should I do?

An explanation: Our friendship is mainly long-distance (talking on phone and emailing), but we were friends in college and it's only gotten stronger for the 5 years out of college. For 6 months, we haven't been on the best of terms. she feels I've been "getting mad" easily; I feel she's been too sensitive. We fought recently over it (after she refused to call for a month bc she was upset but didn't say so) , but I thought we'd made up. I agreed to watch what I was saying more carefully; she agreed not to let my temper bother her. It's been 2 months since we've "made up" and she's made little attempt, though I have, to reinstate our friendship. I emailed her that though I understood she had other priorities (she's a school music teacher, recently bought a house) that I really missed her friendship. She replied that she "wanted to devote more time to getting our friendship back on track, but she couldn't." I feel that if she really wanted to be friends, she'd try harder. You?
