But my ex-husband had an affair and now bought a new house with this lady and my youngest children Grace and Andrea are starting to call her mommy. me and my ex-husband haven't even been divorced for a month. I am not jealous or anything believe me, but My daughter Jessica and Andrea are attached to there father, should i let him have custody of just Jessica and Andrea? Can i do that? I mean i have alot to handle with work, and the new babies.

If you are having to work where is you support from you ex-husband if he can afford a new house than he should be paying for his kids, I would suggest you see a lawyer as soon as possible, about this and as well as you giving up your custody of the 2 you named , as well it is not right or fair to expect a 14 year old to babysit for you, new and better arrangements need to be in place seek professional help with this

I am sure you can....but how would all the kids handle it? Yes you are a busy lady regardless!!! I think that the 2 of you need to come to an agreement on the child care issue though. Kids at that age need their mothers....yes and their fathers too, but isn't it usually the mothers that are there to help guide them through life's choices anyway??? Something that I regret on a daily basis for not being there for my kids....

Good luck! You have some tough choices to make.

You do have your hands full, but if you are planning on this there should be papers written in plain English on your expectations regarding your children. There may be a time that they want to be back with you & and they may not let that happen. Even though he's their father, the kids shouldn't have to be separated on a permanant basis, the others should be considered to feel wanted too.

It probably could be done but first and foremost, petition the court for a remodification hearing for child custody/support. Explain the situation to the judge and tell him what you would like to do. Do not do this without first seeing the judge. You better explain this to your ex and see if he agrees and then workout the details before going to court if both agree. Its probably not the worst idea Ive ever heard but it is kind of unusual, but I admire your honesty for admitting a possible problem and a cure before it gets out of hand. Good luck
