I was reading something online about generation curses and how bad things that your father, mother , grandparent etc. has done can affect the children they have. Now my question is, if a child is a product of an affair (lets say the mother or father was married to someone else at the time of conception) is it possible for the child to suffer all their life because of their parents' sin.

This website was like a biblical site. It made me think and ask why negative things happen to us despite our prayers. Could it really be because of our parents?

Wow, you all give some great answers. :) Here's my next question:

I try to be nice to all of my co-workers and not ina flirty, hang-all-over them type of way. If someone is pasing, I'll say "hi" and smile. Nothing over the top. But one guy who has been with us for a year said to me last week, "Hey, so....I heard you may need a new *$#& buddy. I'd love to fill that position".

Sure, he knows my ex....but I swear, I have never said anything but hello and really vague stuff to this guy (like, "have a good weekend"). I don't know where the sex comment came from. A friend was standing with me and her chin about hit the floor, along with mine. He grinned, blushed, and walked away.....my friend and I were in complete shock.

But, if I report it, at least I DO have a witness, right? Would you report it? To whom? The supervisor? I'm thinking this could probably fit under sexual harassment....but I'm not positive.

I'm getting married in May and ordered my bridesmaid dresses in November. We just went and picked them up and tried them on and they don't fit! One is way too big and its too short. Then one is so tight my sister can barely breath. Theres not much room for making it larger, because theres not alot of extra fabric. Then the material its made out of is different than the one I picked out. The dresses are paid for and they wont exchange. I want to get new dresses but I need to know how to get rid of these darn dresses! Please give me your ideas!

angry relationship with a narcissist, I just cant win. I want it over and he doesnt, he tells me I cant do any better and threatens to take my kid away, I am also a stay home mom, cause he would incredibly angry when I wanted to work, so I just "rolled over" now I regret it. Hewasnt like this in the beginning, he started after our child was born.
I need to get out of this, we are not married, but have lived together for 3 years in his house...Should I cut my losses and start over?

I have noticed in a lot of my female friends myspace pages, aim profiles, etc. they always post this 'Perfect Guy' poem bs. It goes like 'the perfect guy would kiss you in front of his friends, pretend your the only girl he sees, tell you that your beautiful and not hot. Believe it or not in all of my female friends are so shallow and they get asked out by 20 different guys and say yes to the hottest one or one that is trying suck up to them. I am not saying all girls are shallow but ladies open your eyes more and stop posting this **** if you do and look in the places you would least expect. My girlfriend lives 1 hour and 30 minutes away from. Valentine's day falls on a Wednesday so I won't be able to spend it with her.

trying anymore to persuade his wife.

Usually they talk 2 times a week bec of long distance (international). They havent talked in 5 weeks. For 2 weeks, he called (2 times in one week), but wife was so upset she didnot take or return calls. He knows she is upset but doesnot know the details.

Why is she upset: She had learnt that he is doing online chatting, webcam chatting with other local females so is furious.

He is not trying anymore to call or email to ask/makeup etc. He is probably thinking he tried but wife is not responding and calling back as requested so what can he do.

Question is :
Is the wife wrong being so upset that she doesnot take nor return calls.
Is it ok for husband to not do anything about further persuading wife?
Wife is thinking he has enough to keep him happy. He is probably very buzy with his local online chatting and webcam chatting that he probably has forgotten he has a wife.

What should the wife do/think about all this?
