Well from what I have read I found that out not to be true with some people but the Bible says that the sins of your forefathers will continue from generation to generation. But as we live our lives and find out different meanings of this statement then we know which direction to go.I don't truly believe that whatever sin your father/mother committed Will be handed down to you per say because you had nothing to do with it.They will have to pay for there mistakes as well as everyone else.We come into the world alone we go away alone. So therefore whatever you do in between is the most important.Check with a minister to be sure that this answer and that question does not confuse you.

Nope don't believe the child suffers from that.... suffering from having to be raised without a father...yes but not from the sin. Play with it all you want.... but biblical analogies rarely have real baring on life. It was written in simpler times when divine internevtion was the only explanation for bad things happening. Now science has cleared most of that up.

You don't have to suffer because of what your parents has done in the past. If you live your life right and do what God expects you to do, then you have nothing to worry about. All things happen to us for a reason. Good and bad. God always answers our prayers. He may not answer them the way we want him to, but He is always watching over us. He is always there for you to help you through good times as well as the bad times.

It's a slippery superstition for one to believe that the cause of ill fortune is a result of the biological parent's affairs. I think it can be some of a possibility that the energies of both partners are being fused into one can be passed into the offspring. Just like everything else, sin can be passed down to future generations. Think of it like, spiritual or mental inheritance.

Not necessarily. I believe it may be referring in essence to cultural habits which are started in one generation and carried on to others down the line. Not all things in society should be perpetuated, but are simply because that is the way things have always been done.
A child born out of wedlock should not be condemned because of the sins of the parents. It is hardly fair or reasonable to do so.

I personally believe (but no theology to back this up or to break it down), that after Jesus came and saved us, generation curses were done with.
Or.... maybe these generation curses were never what we thought all along. Maybe they were misinterpreted by the people and the curse was actually just genetic diseases. I doubt this one lol, but thought I woudl mention it.
