as i said, i luv this woman for who she is now, but hate the things that she did- and in my eyes, the type of person that she was- when she was much younger. i feel as if i really love her, and really dont like her at the same time. what should i do?

You should forget the past and keep loving her. Love doesn't come along that often. Sounds like she done some bad things when she was young and learned from them. She is older and wiser now.

People really can evolve -- give it time. I think that a person can only disguise their dark side for 4-6 months. If she is like she was and hiding it you'll know it. Otherwise, she might really be who she says she is now. Give her a chance but watch and listen carefully.

My boyfriend used to do that. Just tell her you don't like hearing about her past. Tell her you're in the present and the past doesn't matter. Let her know it makes you uncomfortable. If she respects you she'll stop.
