I don't know what to do I'm doing horrible in University but my family/friends don't know should I tell them?

In my 3rd yr but technically it is my 2nd because I managed to fail so many credits I know I can pull up my grades and graduate after doing one extra semster for my undergrad but the thing is I'm just taking all kinds of courses I know what I want to do for my masters but I am not really in any Faculty and have not even picked a major.

That kind of depends on how bad is 'horrible'
are you on academic probation?
can you bring up your grades
does your scholarship depend on having a certain grade point average?
The answers to those questions will determine if you should tell or not tell.
