suppose it's been a while since you broke up with your ex-gf, let's say 2 months .. you haven't completely moved on but you tried to just stay friend with her ..., but what would you do if you meet her someday at the public place with her new boyfriend and you pass by them ...? would you greet them ? or just ignore or avoid them ?

If you guys had communicated and were friends than I would of course stop and say hello. If you guys just broke up and haven't been talking, I would probably just walk by them without saying anything unless she said hello first. If she said hello, I would say hello. I can see that it would be uncomfortable for someone but it's only right to be polite but there is nothing wrong with avoiding confrontation either.

Well, depending on the seriousness of the break up, it would be friendly of you to just smile and say a casual, meaningless "Hi". In other cases, to play it safely, just keep walking.

Greet them.... Don't be a weird-ex. If you are friends, treat her like any other one of your friends.

I would say hi see what's new with them then just say something like well it was nice seeing you and walk away. Keep it short and act as if it didn't bother me that he was with his g/f.

eif you are still friends then yes greet them and show that there are no hard feelings but if it still hurts you to see her with someone else then maybe you should just nod and go on.

greet them so you dont look jealous and hurt.
show her that you've moved on (even if you havent completely)
and that your capable of being happy without her.

say hello, and keep on moving. It shouldn't be hard to do unless there is ill feelings in you towards her.
