My mom says i"m too picky when I look for a guy to date. everyone has standards mine are:

1) has a job, preferably full time, and makes more than me(above $30,000/yr)
2) has a car
3) has his own place (apartment, house, roommates ok)
4) enjoys the outdoors
5) taller than me (not hard i'm 5'4")
6) likes to travel

I dont think I'm being picky, I'm 26 and I have all the above so why cant I find a guy that has all this and more? and why does my mom think I'm picky??

in elementary school i had a friend in kindergarden grade 1 and 2 and then he moved away to a different school. then i started high school and i found out that he was going to the same high school as me i was so happy! he is really cute and sweet, he wants to know who i like but i can't tell him that i like him.wen i asked him who he likes he gave me some hints and they kind of suggested it might be me! i don't know what to do. i found this poem and it is exactly what i feel for him:
I Love YouI never really knew youYou were just another friendBut when I got to know you,I let my heart unbend.I couldn't help past memories
that would only make me crySo I've fallen in love with you and I'll never let you goI love you more than anyone I just had to let you know And if you ever wonder why I don't know what I'll say But I'll never stop loving you each and every day My feelings for you will never change Just know my feelings are true Just remember onething I Love You.Need help any advice?

My name is Philip... Let me explain how I handle the situation with my wife, Julie.

When I took "early retirement" last year, it became necessary for Julie to get a full-time job for the extra income. Shortly after she started working I noticed she was beginning to show her age.

I usually get back from the Golf Course just before she gets home from work. Although she knows I'm hungry, she always has to rest for half an hour or so before she starts dinner. I don't yell at her. Instead, I tell her to wake me when the dinner is on the table.

She used to do the dishes as soon as we'd finished eating. Now, they sit on the table for several hours. I do what I can by diplomatically reminding her that, "They won't clean themselves". I know she appreciates this, as it does motivate her to get them done before she goes to bed.

Now that she has gotten older, she seems to get tired so much more quickly. Our washer and dryer are in the basement. Sometimes she says she just can't make another trip down those steps. I don't make a big issue of this, unless I need something ironed to wear to the Monday lodge meeting, or to Wednesday's or Saturday's poker club, or to Tuesday's or Thursday's bowling.

Also, if I've had a day on the course and it was wet and muddy, my clubs are a mess, so I let her clean them. My golf bag is heavy so I lift it out of the trunk for her. Women are delicate and can't lift heavy stuff as good as men.

Another symptom of aging is complaining. For example, she will say it's difficult to find time to pay the monthly bills during her lunch hour. But boys, we take 'em for better or worse, so I just smile and offer encouragement. I tell her to stretch it out over 2 or even 3 days! That way she won't have to rush so much.

She even complains of having to carry heavy groceries from the supermarket. I have told her, if the shopping's heavy, make 2 trips.

I also remind her that missing lunch now and then wouldn't hurt her (if you know what I mean). I like to think tact is one of my strong points.

When doing simple jobs, she seems to think she needs more rest periods. She had to take a break when she was only half finished mowing the lawn. I try not to make a scene. I'm a fair man. I tell her to fix herself a cold glass of freshly squeezed lemonade, and one for me too.

I know that I probably look like a saint in the way I support Julie. I'm not saying that showing this much consideration is easy. Many men will find it difficult. Some will find it impossible.

Guys, if you just use a little more tact and less criticism of your aging wife because of this article, I will consider that writing this was well worth while.

Signed, Philip.

UPDATE:

Philip died suddenly last Thursday. He was found with a extra long 50 inch Big Bertha Driver rammed up his posterior, with only 2 inches of the grip showing. His wife Julie was arrested, but an all-woman Grand Jury accepted her defence that he accidentally sat on it, and died.

My fiance and I want an adults only reception. Problem is we are having kids in the wedding who are coming to the reception. How do we tell our guests that we only want adults at the wedding without sounding like hippocrates?

Should we encourage people to make more kids by giving them more tax credits per child? Should we give parents tax credits only when they adopt a child?

If you really think that we don't have enough people, do you think that health care, education, food, and gasoline are too cheap because of a lack of demand? If so, what would you suggest the government to do to increase the prices of those things to keep our economy healthy?

Until what age it is considered normal to never have had sex?
If you would know a person who never had sex, what would you do? Would you worry about that person? If yes, why and when(at what age)? If not, why?

My wife says that I am way too big for her. Whenever we have our "time", it takes me 15 minutes to get inside of her. It sucks that Im built like a horse, but should i get a penis surgery to make it smaller so that she can walk after we have sex for like 3 days and this is bad cuz we have two kids. Because I dont want my wife to go through life half the time in a wheelchair, kinda like in "White Chicks." What do I do? Someone help me, or maybe I'll just talk to my dick and see what he has to say about it!

Guys what are some reasons as to why you stay friends or "hang-out" with an ex? My ex dumped me a year ago, yet last week he called me and asked me to go see a movie with him. I went, then he took me home after the movie. On the drive home, when I asked him why he wanted to see me, he said that he wants to see me every once in awhile. By the way, we never had sex cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. So what does he REALLY want? It seems like he wants to be friends with me BUT we only dated for one month and he ended it one year ago!!!? He’s 26 in grad school and has much more experience than me while I’m 21 in university and he knows that he was my first boyfriend and first kiss. Could it be that he respects me and just wants to be friends with a pretty virgin girl since I doubt he knows any girls like me haha. So why does my ex wanna stay in contact?

I am completely devastated from all this that I have been put through in this short amount of time by someone I love a lot. What do I do?

Should I wait for that special someone? I'm only 21. I've tried everything to get a girl's attention to like me and fall in love with me.
I've tried jokes, poetry, sweet talk, compliments and none of that stuff never impresses a girl and causes a girl to love me forever.

My husband get pissed off and goes on a rant at least once an hour while he's awake and it's over anything and everything. Then he's over it until something new pisses him off. It takes something bigtime to make me mad and as a result I only get mad about once every 3 months. BUT when I do, I tell the offender off in a "take no prisoners" way and then storm off. I don't scream, yell or curse. Then I withdraw and barely speak to anyone for about 3 days before i can get over it. After that, the subject is off limits and I do everything I can to avoid the situation again, because I don't want to get that angry and upset again. My husband says his way is healthier and my anger would not be as intense if I just spouted off everytime I became irritated (which I rarely get and he usually is and I can't understand how anyone could be SO irritated SO much! ). Who's way is healthier?
