Yes you should! Invite him over (make a nice dinner for the two of you) and sit down over dinner and have an open, and honest discussion about both of your feelings. If the feeling is not mutual (and you can get past that) let him know that your feelings will not hurt the friendship, you just needed to get it off your chest. (as best friends share everything.)

well, yer not "inlove" with him until you've actually told him and he says he loves you back and then u smooch. I think you just have a major crush on him. I say you need to summon up the courage to tell him how u feel about him. He won't get mad at you, just don't bow and kiss his feet or anything, he won't like that one bit. But you should tell him u LIKE him, and if he likes you, cool, if he dons't like you, don't get mad, maybe cry a little, but just move on. I know that from personal experiance ;-)
