I have been with my gf for 4 months and we never have really got on. But she accepted our differences, and I could not. I have told her today that we are not compatible and finished with her. She started crying so much and made me feel so guilty. I am now sat at home and I do not know weather to ring her to see if she got home ok, if I do, she may think I am still interested, but if I dont she may think "what a bas***d" for not seeing if she got home ok. She lives quite a away from me and would of been crying when she went home. It does genuinely hurt me to think I have hurt her, but I know we would never ever work. We have had completely different life's.

We cast him off, after what he did to me, then after months apart, he came round grovelling. We had been to a BBQ, we were all drunk, but it was no excuse, but he was so sorry for what he did, we forgave him. Late last year, we arrived home, my daughter, she was 17, was crying. She told me, my father in law came round, when he saw she was alone, he made suggestions, she asked him to leave, but he came in to our house, and "touched" her where he should not, then said "are you afraid, let me feel your heartbeat" She ordered him out. I went ballistic, phoned him, told him to **** off!! never come near us again. I have since found out, he was suspended from work, for touching up the younger women. Is he a peadophile? he is 60, my youngest girl is 9 yrs old, i think he is trying to get back in with us, should i just kill the bastard?

I am 16 years old, and I live in ALberta Canada. Calgary to be exact. I am moving out with a friend. We are both insituations we dont want to be in, and we are ready to face the world. We plan to move out at the end of this school year, giving ourselves the summer o get settled down. When we find a place, what expenses should be aware of? How much do we need to make to get by? The things that we havet hought of sa far are

Phone,
elecricty
rent
sewer
damage deposit
internet (we do online school)
grocieries,
furnishings
clothes
utilities (heat, water etc..)

What else do we need to plan for?

Also, as a 16 year old in Alberta, what are our legals rights? Can we move out without parental consent? Do the parents have visitation rights?

I want BOLD colors for my wedding, but I am SOOO indecisive. What are some great color combos? Anything but pastel colors!

I like the whole marroon/black/white combo, the orange/pink combo, and maybe a dark red/gold combo.. any more ideas? I would love something that incorporated green, but I cant think of anything. I want to have colors that are 'energetic' and fun. All advice will be greatly appreciated.

We have been married for almost 4 years. I caught him looking at naked pictures of women when we were dating and then again after we were recently married and again TODAY I found a bunch of files of naked women. He knows how I feel about this. What do I do? I don't want to be with someone who does something that I feel is a deal breaker for me. I am a 40 year woman with a teenager. I don't like younger guys and besides they are usually nevermarrieds who are looking for younger women to eventually have a family with 10 years down the line or so , the guys in their 40's (my age group) are either looking for younger women in their 20's or 30's or they still have young children (I'm not really interested in a man with a bunch of little kids as mine is almost grown), and the 50 year age group which I'm looking for and prefer (I like older men) seem to be kinda stuffy or they don't want someone that much younger. I'm looking for a guy who's ready to settle down into something real, not just play games but it seems that with every age group I hit a road block.

And everyone wants to know what it matters if it is fake, that it is a symbol of his love and why I am being materialistic? i cant live my life my daddy acys like he's god i cant go anywhere without one of my parents i stay in the house all day he called me a **** because he thought my jacket was dirty frm taking the dog out. i feel like his nubian servant and my mother jus lets him i am 15 i lived in 3 states and moved 5 times and i am an honor student in school my mother picks out all my classes. they forcing me to stay in band. my father is picking my career professional my life is pre planned when i get sick he thinks im pregnet i havent even had my 1st kiss yet he didnt do30 and 35 year old my brother and sister like that i jus wanne live my life im so quiet i barely talk to any1 but i do have friends i cant even presue my dreams i feel like i dont matter

For example: A Hindu boy does not want an arranged marriage, but his parents insist he have one. The parents arrange for him to meet girls in India, but he refuses. The boy politely tells his parents he will marry who he wants to, not whom they select. Is it common, or possible for the Indian parents to, on their own, promise his marriage to someone he has never met on his behalf? How would Indian parents then get him/force him to India to marry? What tactics, besides mental blackmail, would they use? What would they try? Has anyone known or heard of stories like this? What happened? Could the Indian parents stand in on his behalf for a marriage in India and then just bring the girl to the US, and then tell him---SURPRISE! you're married. Would this be legal if he protested such actions? What recourse would he have if he did not want to be married to someone his parents selected?
