I've seen jealousy from my girl when I meet a new friend who is a woman. And I have jealousy from her when she does the same. The reason why is because all of her male friends are losers who can't be trusted. And untill she can make better decisions it's my job to protect from those kind of mistakes.
I show her the same respect and try not to make that many female friends. Because I love her shes all I need. And if she really loves me then I'm all she needs.

I have lots of friends of the opposite sex, and so does my husband... I think people who think that it is stupid, are STUPID or possessive. Its only natural to have friends, regardless of their sex.

the question is stupid, because if you can't have friends who are the oppisite sex then they don't trust you. reguardless of the fact that the real reason is that they don't trust that person even more.

No. This is not normal behavior. They should mind their own business and keep their stupid opinions to themself.
