We cast him off, after what he did to me, then after months apart, he came round grovelling. We had been to a BBQ, we were all drunk, but it was no excuse, but he was so sorry for what he did, we forgave him. Late last year, we arrived home, my daughter, she was 17, was crying. She told me, my father in law came round, when he saw she was alone, he made suggestions, she asked him to leave, but he came in to our house, and "touched" her where he should not, then said "are you afraid, let me feel your heartbeat" She ordered him out. I went ballistic, phoned him, told him to **** off!! never come near us again. I have since found out, he was suspended from work, for touching up the younger women. Is he a peadophile? he is 60, my youngest girl is 9 yrs old, i think he is trying to get back in with us, should i just kill the bastard?

I'd say contact the police, get a solicitor, get the law on your side - at least that will help get him on an official sex offender's register.

You could always name him and shame him, but I wouldn't do that unless the law doesn't help you. Naturally that's up to you, you might not want to drag your kids into it even more, for which I wouldn't blame you in the slightest.

You want to kill the bastard, that's understandable. But I really think the legal way is the best way initially.

But no matter what, do not let this bastard get to you. He's made you so angry now, try and calm down, he really isn't worth so much negative emotion.

Killing him would not solve any emotional problems that you or your daughter may face now or in the future and it would only land you in a great deal of trouble - potentially leaving your family to fend for themselves if you get jailed for murder.

I can understand totally why you would want to kill him but the best thing to do is to call the police and make an official complaint against him.

Someone previously said don't contact the police as it could affect other members of the family - yes it might and you may find members of the family turn against you however this man needs to be punished for what he has done. You need to stand firm with your daughter and be as supportive as you possibly can.

The police will also be able to help you get in touch with victim support who will be able to offer counselling for both you and your daughter.

Please don't brush it under the carpet as your daughter could suffer emotionally for the rest of her life if you do not stand by her side now.

Don't kill him... However you should in reality go to the police and make a statement. I was abused as a youngster and it is not nice. If nothing else think of the others you do not know about who may be in the same position. Yes he is a paedeophile and he needs help.

although your daughter is 17 she is still your child and personally yes i would call him a peadophile,he is a sexual preditor who is a danger to both women and young girls.
I understand you giving him the benefit of the doubt but he was calculating in his behaviour because he only wanted back in with his family to get to your daughter.
Have you asked your 9 year old if she is ok?she may be worried about speaking out if your father has interfered with her.
If it was me,i would phone the police and get your father as far away from you all as possible.

Call the police, call an attorney, call a family counsellor, in that order.

He is a pedophile and he needs help. You and your husband failed your daughter by not dealing with the problem when you were the victim. Failure to face the problem now will only cause more grief and pain for future victims.

Report him to the police immediately. I can obviously see why you would want to kill him for what he's done, but you need to think of your children. It will not help them if you go to jail, your 17 year old in particular may feel that it was her fault for telling you what he did to her, and blame herself.
If you think he's trying to get back in with you, i'm sure you have done already but change the locks and your phone number. I'm sorry i can't advise you more.

No killing him would not do you or your daughters and family any good. However you should report him and his behaviour to the police and have him charged with sexual interference. In addition it would be very wise thing for you to have your daughters participate in some sexual offense counseling, so they don't grow up blaming themselves and not trusting any males. If you are telling a true story and not just playing around on YA then by reporting him you could also be saving another female who may be vicitimized by this man. Please do the proper thing and have him charged and put on a pediaphile registry. Best of luck to you and your daughers.

File a report against him and DO NOT let him near your children, wether he is a paedophile or not he is a danger to young women. An official complaint needs to be made against him. In my heart I would want to cut the bastards balls off, but I would try the legal route first.

Get of the net and call the police, this is a matter of great concern as he may be out there re offending. This man should be in jail and not on the streeets. Call the police NOW!

Report him to the police immediately, think of the crap he will get in prison, for a person to do this is not right and there is a risk that he could do this to younger children or rape other women.
