My friend is having sex...please help...?

My 13 year old friend had sex yesterday. She used a condom, but now she wants to do it again. so she is going to go on the pill. How do I convince her to stop? How can I help?

I don't believe there is such a thing as safe sex when you are 13. What if he has an std and she relies on the pill and doesn't use condoms? Is that really safe?

If I were you, I would go talk to your school guidance counselor, school nurse, or someone who can talk to your friend and tell her about all of the consequences of having sex at such a young age, or at any age for that matter.

I might also reach out to someone older like if you have an older sister or someone that you trust to talk to. Your friend should know that she is worth more than having sex at such a young age and she should wait for someone special.

How old is the guy she is sleeping with? She is too young. I think you should privately tell her parents. The parents can look into it and it will never appear that you told them. Trust me you will be doing the right thing. At her age she is probably trying to get some sort of acceptance and that is not healthy.

Sex is too much of an issue for a 13 year old to deal with. Listen if she does find out is was you and breaks off the friendship, you will have done the right thing. Hopefully in the future she will look back and realize that you were a good friend. Getting pregnant or an STD is something that I don't think you want your friend to get. Inform her that condoms do not prevent HPV and HSV(herpes).

Be brave, contact her parents and tell them your concern. Good luck. You will be doing the right thing.

You can't make her stop, as disheartening as it is (especially because she is only 13!). You can tell her how you feel, and ask her why she thinks she is ready for sex. Chances are she is just doing it to make up for something that is missing in her life. The first step will be figuring out what that is.

Be happy that she is at least being safe about it.

You said she is using condoms and that she wants to be on the pill, too. When it comes to sex at any age, that is as safe as it gets.

13 YEARS OLD?!??! THATS ILLEGAL! Convince her to stop NOW. Tell her about the conciquences (sp?) Sex is not illegal until 16 years old, anyways I'd know, and I'm 13 also. Just the main important key of aadvice. GO FOR PROFESSIONAL HELP. NOW. Make your friend anynonomous, maybe a cousin, aunt [like, aunts can be your age too ya know!] Go to your guidance at school. Or, an online PROFESSIONAL advice page. Like, for instance, " http://www.myspace.com/_asdfxadvice " It doesn't sound professional, just try it. Anything professional. I would really consider going for your school guidance and just say that it's a distant relative that is very close to you, and you guys are like "best friends" like a cousin or something, so the counsler won't bug you about who it is.

Unfortunately she won't stop just because you tell her to. But you can talk to her and let her know that theres an AIDS epidimic, and also that syphilis, gonnorhea, chlamydia, etc.etc. isn't preventable by birth control. She needs to do something more constructive with her life, sex at 13 is way too young and it could possibly lead to a very destructive life.......Pray for her!!!!!!!!

Tell her parents. Show her from the Bible how we are not suppose to have sex before we get married. Sex before marriage was wrong years and years ago, and it's still wrong today! If she loves The One and Only God who created everything thing that she has come to know and love, then she needs to follow His laws!
