I am married, and my one of my best friends is a girl. I feel like I can talk to her about anything. She is just a friend, nothing else. Should my wife have a problem with this?

Does she want to be with me or not?
She tells me one thing she tells her friend something different...
She told me she needed space after a fight, when I ask her if we are still together she says she doesn't know she needs to make up her mind, but wants to continue to date me once a week and limit other communications. I asked her directly what our status is and she said she didn;t know
She told her best friend that we were together and just starting over taking things really slow.
What is the truth???

I'm 17. I've been with my boyfriend 5 months, but my parents are making my life hell.
About 4/7 days, I'll be abused. Mentally or physically. I go to my boyfriends whenever I can, which is usually twice a week.
I'll do something MINOR wrong, at times I've been told to do it, at times it's making a mountain out of a molehill - Not just in my view, other times it's going around random things to shout at me for & at times, yes, I admit, it is my fault.
I have college, exams, I TRY to do work, but I can't, I'm so stressed/being shouted at/barred from the computer. I get stopped from doing simple little things.

My boyfriend dislikes my parents for how they are, and vice versa.
His parents know the situation I'm in, & he's often asking me to move in with him & his parents
I'm worried his parents mightn't like me, I'd get in the way, I'd be completely reliant on them, I have no income, he'd grow tired of me or argue with me would be worse, I know I wouldn't be allowed back home.
Any advice?

I met a guy in October while on vacation who does not live in the same state as me. We spent almost every day together and had an excellent time. Upon my return home we continued to talk every day. In December he invited me out to visit him- we spent 2 weeks together during which time I met his family.

Despite the fact that we are not "boyfriend/ girlfriend" I feel myself growing attached to him. He says he doesn't want a long distance relationship as he has been in that situation before and the girl he was in love with broke it off (she lived out of the country!) but he still calls me every day. We spend hours on the phone every night.

My question is- should I just stop talking to this dude as I find myself pretty insulted that he considered some girl who lived in South America his girlfriend... and I am just a "friend"... guys help me here- does the label of "girlfriend" mean that much?

I want to change my sons last name so that he will only carry mine. How do I go about this? Is it a long process? If marriage is already planned on and all that, what do you think are the pros and cons of living together before the wedding?

Please no religious nuts. I want the opinon of people who actually have their own thoughts about it, not the churches.

I was just reading through a question where a man asked what he could do to help his wife of 6.5 years lose weight he said he still loves her like crazy but is now unattracted to her.

So many women jumped all over him about being insensitve to a womans needs and all this crap.

Last time i checked a marriage was a 2 way street and if one or both arent happy then both need to do something about it. A man or woman has every right to be un happy with their partner changing there appearence especially if it is an unhealthy choice. I believe that both parties in a realtionship need to make an effort to keep the others happy this is the only way it works.

what do you all think?

IIf so is it only celebrities feel comfortable commenting on or are you also able to talk honestly about people you know in town? How does your spouse react? My wife and I are honest about these things. I think that it helps inspire me to still want to maintain my appearance for her after 10 years of marriage and also helps both of us not take our relationship for granted. This has added just a touch of competing / jealousy for both of us which has been good for keeping a spark in our marriage. What do you think?

My step kids mother got remaried and from the beginning have called their stepdad by his first name. Now that their mom is having a baby with stepdad, mom has told the kids that they have to call him dad so they don't confuse the baby when it comes. My stepdaughter age 5 says she knows he's not her real dad and wants to call him dad so she doesn't confuse the baby. But my stepson age 6 still wants to call him by his first name. Is it right for their mom to do that to them when they see thier natural father 50% of the time?

She said she wants us to start sharing our deepest secrets with each other and become closer friends. I am not sure if this is such a good idea. I would like to know why she wants this kind of friendship!
