I am married, and my one of my best friends is a girl. I feel like I can talk to her about anything. She is just a friend, nothing else. Should my wife have a problem with this?

When you married your wife she should have become your best friend. From experience next to honesty, communication is the key to a successful relationship. If you love your wife she should be the first one you want to talk to good or bad.

It depends on what type of person your wife is, if she is the jealous type and finds out you are confiding in a woman friend she might think something is going on, or if she has male friends herself then she will not be inclined to think that you are cheating on her. It would be a good idea if you talked your wife about your friendship with this girl and let her know that it is just a friendship and that nothing is going on and you talk her when you feel you really need to talk to someone besides your wife. Once you have explained the situation find out what you wife thinks. If she has a problem with it then discontinue the relationship with your friend to avoid any serious problems and if she is fine with it then keep the boundaries between you and your friend to avoid any problems there. You obviously know how far you and you friend can go and what you and you friend can do.

How would you react if your wife's best friend was a guy and she could talk to him about anything? You have to understand something, the relationship between you and your friend may be innocent, but how does your wife perceive it? When a guy has a female friend that he confides in more than his wife, that could be sending all kinds of wrong signals to her.
Of all the people that you should be able to talk to about anything in the world is your wife. If you can't, you really need to sit down and do some soul searching. If your female friend is so wonderful, why didn't you marry her instead of your wife? Be warned, many times, innocent relationships turn into not so innocent relationships.
Your wife should be the one you can tell all your deepest secrets to, not another lady.

Yes, your wife could easily have a problem with it! If your wife is inclined to be jealous at all, you should terminate this friendship. Not worth it, if it makes your wife feel badly about it.

You should be able to talk to your wife the same way. I imagine she would feel hurt that you don't feel you can go to her and talk about anything.

she will have a problem if you start quoting her or saying well she said this, also if you are talking about your personal relasionship problems with the girl instead of your wife. i personally think your headed for a trainwreck. and i think you know it too. if you are going to continue to talk to her keep it to only benign subjects. you should be talking to your wife.
