i have a friend thats a girl that id want to have a closer relationship with but stay friends. id like to be someone she can come and talk to about anything and who she trusts to tell her deepest secrets. i love being around her, theres never a dull moment when imwith her. we can talk for hours and never get board. i feel most comftorable when im around her but i just dont know how to become closer than wat we r now. how would i go about this?

I had a very good friend (best friend) for over 6 years...and when we moved apart, I still saw him but rarely..and you could tell we were each doing different things. It was kinda sad but the past 2 years I haven't heard, seen, or talked to him :-(. Anyone have a similar experience?

nice guy. super atheltic, very cute, very smart. but obsessed. kinda one step away from stalker. he im's me when he can (i almost never go online...but when i do, he's almost always there!). he stares at me throughout math (that's our only class together). he goes to my hockey games...even one away game (he said he was "passing by" the rink and decided to drop in. the rink was 14 miles away from his house and not on the way to/from school!) he talks to his friends endlessly about me. i know i sound a little harsh, but i am very serious and it's getting on my nerves. i hope he doesn't ask me out...because i have no idea what i would say. what do i do? how do i not hurt his feelings in the process?

Ok well my friend and I were going to lunch after school. She had her period and wasn't feeling well, so she called her mom and asked her to bring her some medicine. When she came back she said her mom said it would be easier if she just went home and she did, this was very dissappointing to me since i hadn't been alone with her in like over a year. So i thought it would be good if we reconnected, and became friends again. it made me mad she left since this hasn't been that first time a friend has cancled the day of our plans, so i was hoping it wouldn't be the way it always was. but it was. SO i sent a text saying.... R U FEELING BETTER? U SHOULDN'T I WAS ACUTALLY HOPING THIS TIME I MADE PLANS IT WOULDN'T BE LIKE THE REST OF THEM AND HOW THEY TURNED OUT.... BUT IT WAS.... and a bunch of other stuff. was that something that could have ruined what little we had left? Do i have a right to be mad? I am over reacting?

Well you see me and my boyfriend live at my dads. We used to live at his moms but we all got in a fight. You see she always wants us to stay with her younger children while she stays in another town with a man who doesn't like her children. IT would n be so bad, but if I don't keep the house exactly the way she likes it its a night mare when she comes home which is only a few days every month. I do my best but its never goon enough. She always puts me down to the ground and well we came here. She wants us to go back again and I am refusing and my boyfriend wants to because he doesnt want her to just leave them they are 15 and 13 by the way and she wants to leave them with an aunt. My bf says he wants them at home because its good for them and I understand brotherly love but when are we gonna start our life together or is he just gonna live at his moms forever. Hes twenty one and has no job and hasnt been looking for one either. Am I being selfish or should I just walk away.

im loosing him...my husband is pulling away and I dont know what to do..I recently met someone and before you start attacking me, nothing happend and nothing will. I just feel like hes giving me attention where my husband is not..and what I mean by that is he talks to me and is interested in what I say, and compliments me.

I guess what Im asking is.... Is it normal for a man to pull away so early in a marriage and also am I wrong for letting this other man give me what Im missing... even though there are no romantic feelings (on my part at least.)


Oh and by the way..we havent been fighting..there are no financial problems or anything like that..

If you're in a relationship that seems to be based more on lust than on love (although both are present), what steps could be taken to encourage the guy to commit to a more love-based relationship?

Details: I've been seeing a guy for a while (not "officially" but we haven't really been seeing other people) and we care a lot about each other, but a big part of our relationship is about physical aspects. What are some ways I can grow closer to my guy? We're very open with one another, but I want to build the casual parts of our bond and not just talk about the relationship itself all the time.

And I don't want the answer "tell him how you're feeling." He knows. I want actual ACTIONS that I can take.

My girlfriend cheated on me this summer with a co-worker, and after a 3 month split up we decided to get back together. However, she refuses to stop talking to the guy she cheated on me with. She calls him multiple times everyday even though she promised me she would not talk to him when we got back together. so i started dating this guy early in the summer even though I knew i'd be leaving for a semester abroad (I know, not too bright) but my heart told me it was the right thing to do! I'm much younger than him and he was my first relationship. We had soo much fun together and nothing was wrong except for the fact that I left. When I came back he had started dating someone else which hurt, but I tried to move on. I love you without getting a response back first time I told him I love you he just stare in shook or it might been unexpected we were living together going out all the time..coming to see each other at work I felt wired because I wanted a response “I love you too”

He never shows any kind of affection toward me..I always have to go up to him and get a kiss or hug..and when I know something is bothering him I have to fish out what happened and try to make him feel better..he won’t open up to me so makes me think he doesn’t trust

I don’t think he wants me out of his life because he is been always taking care of me financially..but it sometimes feel like I am just here for his money
