so i started dating this guy early in the summer even though I knew i'd be leaving for a semester abroad (I know, not too bright) but my heart told me it was the right thing to do! I'm much younger than him and he was my first relationship. We had soo much fun together and nothing was wrong except for the fact that I left. When I came back he had started dating someone else which hurt, but I tried to move on. Now, he's single again and I really want to ask him out...will i seem to desperate? we had no bad history only fun! PLEASE HELP!!

If he is single at this time then feel free to ask him for a date and if things go good from there, I am sure you will have many more dates with him. Just go to dinner or lunch,nothing more. Just take is slow and find out if he still likes you in the same way. He had to move on with his life being that you left to do what you had to do. If you left on good terms then it should not be a problem but he may hold out being that he was hurt by you leaving. Take your time and be careful.

I don't feel that appears desperate at all. No bad history ... you can tell him you would like to renew the fun when you had been together before. I think he would be flattered you remembered the fun times. I feel each of you have a lot to catch up on.

Start hanging out with him again casually and see what happens. If your still feeling it then go for it. The worst that could happen is he'll say no and if you don't you'll always be wondering what if and it will be harder to get over.

just ask him if he takes you back then just be happy if he doesnt forget him and move on your not desperate you just care for him, youd be desperate if your the one who broke up with him in the first place. if you dont ask him youll wonder "what if" probably for a long time and never know... good luck ^_^

just hang out with him at first and see where it goes. He might even be the first to initiate it so you don't have to. At the end of the night, just ask him if he'd want to hang out again... it'll work out.

i think you should not ask him out .. it is hard to stay away from someone that you have feelings for .. i know it hurts but you need first to know what you want to do with your life and then make your decision.
