my "friend"callie called my other friend, jake, gay. she's mean because he isn't gay at all. she already called 2 guys gay already even though when they aren't. she went overboard with calling jake gay today. he's a sweet, nice, funny guy and i don't know why she thought of that. he's always smiling when i see him, but after callie called him gay, he was frowning and looking down. he went talking to me after that and i asked him if he got really offended, coz i would if someone called me some name. he said yes really quietly and wasn't that cheerful like before.I can't take that face that he made when he heard it off my mind.callie is just trying to be someone else. and she kicked some other friend's shin a lot of times after he told her to stop. he got pretty mad. and i was wondering how and what to tell her about her being mean again.she's just really mean. i was sexually abused when i was very young...and ive never told anyone...this is the closest that ive ever come to acknowledging it outside of my mind in 18 years. i am terrified to have sex with a man or woman...and it doesnt help matters that i have extremely low self esteem...so the thought of somebody seeing me naked much less touching me naked completely unnerves me. i spent all of my childhood and most of my adult life trying to avoid being touched by anyone.

I'm 18 and I just started college at a private university. I work hard for everything I want. but my mom is always telling me that I'm not working hard enough and that I'll never amount to anything.
I hate that I feel like I'm 12. I have to ask before I leave the house. She'll say I can stay out as late as I want but when I come home she yells at me for coming back "late." I don't understand why she just doesn't let me do my own things, how else am I going to learn? and she's always complaining about how I don't get anything done when I do.
I'm afraid that if I say something she'll just get even more mad. What can I do?

I am a 5'4", blond eyed woman in my mid 30's. I have had two kids and have a bit of mid section. My upper body is petite, my legs and pretty toned and I should lose about 30 pounds to be a total babe. My sons teacher has been nothing short of totally nice to me and my son. He to me seems to have illicited a frienship with me and in the last few months seems to always have some reason to come up and talk to me. Does he think I am attractive? I've had sex while on my courses before, and just about all my guy friends say they have had sex with a girl while she was on her courses and they were fine with it. Well I have a new boyfriend and we haven't had sex yet; we've decided to wait a while. Anyway, he says he's never made love to a woman while she was having her courses and he won't do that because he thinks it's disgusting. I was very offended. He made me feel like he thought my body was unclean or something. Anyway, I told him that until he changes his attitude, he can consider this a sex-free relationship. I think if a guy is repulsed by a woman's body then he shouldn't have the honor of enjoying it. Am I out of line?
